Beautiful set of Perigordian buildings including one old master house (7 sleeps), one well-renovated barn (8/9 sleeps), one pigeon tower (2 sleeps + a child), each with its private pool and garden. The “Domaine du Vieux Soulbarede” is a typical Perigordian complex including three old buildings from the 18th century. It is situated in a small hamlet surrounded with plum trees on one side, fields and forests on the other. The three buildings have been recently completely renovated in a high standard and they have retained their original charm and character. The property is situated on the edge of the hamlet on more than two acres of fenced garden. The buildings are far enough from each other and well separated by hedges. The gardens are spacious and planted with trees and bushes. The housings are well-equipped and decorated with charm and respect of the regional tradition. Each owns its terrace in front of its pool and its garden furniture and BBQ.

“Le Pigeonnier” is the old pigeon tower of the domain; it has been converted into a charming and rustic holiday accommodation; it is set in a beautiful area viewing old trees and fields. The private garden is about 0.5 acre large and well surrounded with bushes. The accommodation is a nice house for 2 people (and a child). On the first floor, the living-room opens on the terrace; it is furnished with a sofa, a table and chairs; the kitchen is equipped with nice green furniture. A large tiled terrace is facing the garden and the private delightful pool, ideal for resting or sunbathing in a quiet environment. “Le Pigeonnier” owns its private lane and its private car park.

The “Domaine du Vieux Soulbarede” is situated in a beautiful area well-known for its quality of life, its pleasant weather, its beautiful landscapes and architecture. It is close to Bergerac (15 kms), a nice town with all facilities; the medieval village of Issigeac is very near too (9 kms) with its shops and its famous Sunday market; during summer a lot of activities and fairs are organised in these towns and in a lot of bastides of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne within short driving distance. The Bergerac area is famous for its vineyards and a lot of wine-growing estates are open for visiting and tasting. The choice of entertainment is large: canoeing on Dordogne and Vezere rivers, trips on “gabarre”, visiting castles ( Monbazillac, Lanquais, ...) and bastides, walking, cycling, golf, squash, horse riding are available in the area. In Gironde, the famous medieval town of Saint-Emilion is at 67 kms and Bordeaux at 104 kms.

What a beautiful location excellent only 10 minutes drive from Bergerac airport.
We enjoyed our stay at La Grange it was a very clean and well maintained property, the pool was beautiful and our seven year old little girl loved it and so did her dad.
The owner was there to greet us upon our arrival and was very welcoming he gave us lots of information about the surrounding area, there was also booklets and leaflets at the property on places to visit in the Bergerac and other areas.
We visited Issegiac market which was 15 minutes drive away and is open every sunday with all the local produce/goods on sale well worth a visit.
Alains restaurant in Issegiac is very popular and exspensive but beautiful food we had a few meals there and both were amazing and all local produce.
There are lots of surrounding cities/towns/villages and vineyards to visit and Bergerac is only 20 minutes away.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and area, it is beautiful and we had very enjoyable stay.
