The beautifully restored Perigordian-style village house contains many period features, including a large living room, big fireplace (decorative), big farmhouse pine dining-kitchen with French doors leading on to a delightful patio garden complete with garden furniture for those delicious Perigordian al fresco meals of course! Light and spacious, tastefully renovated, cosy in winter with central heating, new plumbing and wiring. Quality furniture and fittings. Unspoiled rural village with excellent restaurant, bar, boulangerie, and it's own Sunday market, set in beautiful countryside with ancient history & traditional village combined!

Daglan is a beautiful, thriving rural village with excellent restaurant, bar, boulangerie, shops, a post office and small Sunday market. The area is famous for it’s ancient stone huts & prehistoric sites in the hills above the village. Located on the River Ceou, a tributary of the River Dordogne, Daglan is ideally situated for exploring the Dordogne countryside and famous sites, like the chateaux, prehistoric caves and Romanesque churches. Only 20 km from the Renaissance town of Sarlat, Daglan is within easy reach of the Lascaux Caves, Roque Gageac, Domme, Beynac, Rocamadour, Agen, the Lot. Ideal walking country and well served for sporting activities, such as swimming, canoeing, tennis, golf, cycling, rock climbing & caving. In summer the region is rich in art exhibitions, drama and music festivals and village fetes. Also absolutely perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco in the garden at home.
