Large house with private pool and restored wine tower with luxury spa

La Grande Nauze is a delightful Perigordian style property located on the edge of the lovely little village of Beaupouyet, near Montpon and Mussidan. The property has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 people comfortably. It has a private heated swimming pool, BBQ, games room featuring pool, table-tennis, table top football, darts and tennis rackets. Tennis is available free of charge in the village. There are 4 bikes for exploring the surrounding countryside. Satellite TV , DVD player and a good selection of films is also available. The swimming pool has a large patio surround and is fenced to French security standards. Next to La Grande Nauze, but totally separate is La Tour Emand. This is a lovingly restored wine tower and sleeps 2 although there is a sofa bed in the lounge that can accommodate another 2 additional people. The tower is on 3 levels with lounge, kitchen, and bedroom. There is a totally secluded garden with hot tub. The properties can either be let together or separately

La Grande Nauze has 4 bedrooms sleeping 8 people. There are 3 bathrooms, kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, hob and oven. There is a dining room with large table seating 8, a sunny lounge with satellite TV,DVD facilities, and a large selection of films, books and games. Outside there is a 9 by 4 mtr swimming pool that is totally surrounded by fencing and an alarm to French security standards. There is a large terrace surrounding the pool for sunbathing and a covered terrace with seating and table for 8 people. To compliment the outdoor space is a brick buile BBQ. There is a games room with pool, darts, table-tennis, table top football, four bikes to explore the beautiful French countryside, tennis rackets and a fridge to house cold beer and wine. La Grande Nauze has sole use of the swimming pool and although next door to La Tour Emand both can be let independently or together.

The village of Beaupouyet is located in between the small towns of Montpon and Mussidan, close to the Double forest and the River Isle. The village has a superb tabac that serves an excellent 5 course meal including wine for only 11 euros and is frequented by locals and tourists alike. Markets are held in Montpon on Wednesdays and Mussidan on Saturdays and sell local veg, fruit, meat, cheeses and wine. The larger towns of Bergerac and Perigeux are only 35 minutes away, with Bordeaux one hour. An excellent way to travel to Bordeaux is by train from Mussidan and is a must for all visitors. Bordeaux is regarded as the second most chic city in France behind Paris and boasts cathedrals, museums and the longest shopping street in Europe, Rue St Catherine. Restaurants are plentiful and offer excellent value. For wine lovers, St Emillion known as the home of wine is 40 minutes away and offers tours around the local vineyards. Lac de Gurson is only 20 minutes away and offers beach facilities.
