Villa in Perigord Style with large pool and 1 hectar garden

The fine stone built Perigordian house set in two-and-a-half acres grounds, with swimming pool 5 x 11 m and security cover, at St.Cassien a small village with 36 inhabitants, 4 km from the 12 th century English bastide fortified town of Monpazier, listed as an important national heritage site. Quiet situation in the middle of the countryside yet within easy reach of shops and services including pharmacy and doctors. Fully equipped and tastefully furnished, the house has three floors (320 m2) and can accommodate 10 persons. From the house, you can access miles of trekking tracks throughout the woods and the country. The countryside around Monpazier is hilly, wooded, calm and very under-populated. 10 minutes away by car, you will find the Biron Castle and on Saturday morning the market in Villéreal. 40 minutes away, you can visit caves, the castles of Beynac and Castelnaud. A bit further, you will discover the villages of Domme and Roque-Gageac and the town of Sarlat.

The region of the Dordogne is rich in history, culture and cuisine. It is one of the most beautiful countryside in France. The area contains the cities of Bergerac, Sarlat and Perigueux with immense historical and architectural interest. The smaller villages are worth visiting for their diverse charm. Numerous castles, caves, medieval localities and much more besides. Chateau Biron, Villereal, Beaumont or Belves in 15 min. We have tested few restaurants. It is difficult to visit everything but we can advise you. Not far from the house our private exercise Golf and our private fishing point. In the area, plenty of activities are available ( Tennis, horse riding, Golf , Fishing, Canoeing.) Our first motivation is to offer you a family and calm environment in the middle of the countryside.
