The house is bordered with roses, honey suckle and shrubs. There are outside lights to help enjoy the garden after dark on warm summer’s nights. The grounds are also bordered with trees, which makes it a safe and private haven for relaxing and lounging. There are 3.6 hectares of woodland including 150m of Dordogne river frontage where the owners have regularly seen a pair of kingfishers whilst fishing. You can go for long walks just in the grounds alone. The house has all mod-cons, including dishwasher, washing machine, iron, coffee machine, microwave, radio, UK freesat TV and DVD. The pool is exclusive use, and we have Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball and Swing ball. There is a sand pit and a trampoline for little children.

Nearest Airport: Bergerac at 2 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Caen at 650 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Bergerac at 2 Kilometres

The house is on the rural edge of Bergerac itself, also bordering the village La Conne, and as such is 5 minutes by car into the centre of Bergerac, where you will find countless restaurants and a picturesque, busy old town of probably about 25,000 population. It is 2km North of the Airport BUT since the runway is East-West, you cannot hear (all 5 per day) international flights landing or taking off. You get the best of both worlds with the proximity but not the noise. The house is set in 3.6 hectares of private grounds including 150m of Dordogne river frontage. It is also 5 minutes drive from a large Leclerc supermarket for all your shopping. There are other supermarkets nearby too. You can't walk to get bread unfortunately but it's very close by car (unless you persuade the miller opposite to make you some).

A wonderful hideaway in Bergerac

What a wonderful place Le Chalet du Moulin Blanc is! It just blew us away on arrival and the 'wow' factor continued when we got inside with beautiful bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms and wonderful lounge. The Chalet was easy to find and only a stone's throw away from the airport - but far enough to feel like you were in the middle of the country. Amazingly convenient for all facilities by car with most things only five to ten minutes away.

Would heartily recommend to anyone who is looking for a property which is restful and charming. A real find!
