Villa Melanna is a spacious, single storey villa, newly built in 2005 offering light, comfortable and modern living. Furnished to a high standard and tiled throughout with large open plan living and dining area, complete with wood burning fire, TV with English free view and DVD / CD player. It has a modern, well equipped kitchen and utility room including fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. Large family bathroom with separate WC and en suite with shower and WC to master bedroom. Situated in 3/4 acre fenced plot with views across fields to the village from the rear garden. There is a 10x5 metre pool with roman steps and security cover, surrounded by a large patio area and south facing garden. Quiet, picturesque village location only 10 minutes from the market town of Montpon and 15 minutes from the river Dordogne at Ste Foy La Grande. Villa Melanna is child friendly, wheelchair accessible and privately owned.

The village of St Geraud de Corps is picturesque, rural and tranquil, with a small shop, bar and restaurant. It is a 10 minute drive north to the handy market town of Monton and 20 minutes south to the popular riverside town of Ste Foy la Grande. Ideally situated for day trips to the many tourist attractions this region has to offer, both inland and at the coast; St Emilion, Bergerac, Perigeuex, Sarlat, Domme, Bordeaux, Brantome, Lascaux, Dune de pilat, Arcachon, Lacanau and Medoc to name a few. Easy access to main motorway network with junction 12 of the A89 only 4 miles away. Choice of airports with Bergerac 30 minutes and Bordeaux 50 minutes drive, both offering low cost airlines. Ferry crossings to St Malo reduce drive time in France to 6 hours.

Wonderfull Relaxing Villa

Myself and four friends stopped in this wonderful villa in the spring/early summer of 2007. This villa is ideal for anyone, like us, who wishes to tour the fantastic wine regions of Bordeaux, Bergerac and St Emillion. The villa is situated in the beautiful picturesque hamlet of St Geraud de Corps, smack in the middle of arguably the finest wine producing regions of France.
The facilities at the villa were top notch, with everything you could possibly require, including barbecue and even inflatables for the fantastic pool! The property was clean and maintained to an extremely high standard. Some of us were especially pleased to have access to English TV! St Geraud de Corps is a very quite place and one evening, while sitting enjoying a glass of wine by the pool, we even had wild deer run through the back garden. I am certainly planning on visiting again, and I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone planning a stay in the Dordogne.
