3 bedroom apartment, with pool, on the Mediterranean coast

Marisol is a well-equipped 2nd floor apartment which on one side has stunning views of the marina from its balcony and dining area and on the other overlooks the swimming pools.

The secluded swimming pool complex has a large main pool, a smaller pool for babies and small children and is reserved solely for residents of the apartment building. It offers a delightful alternative to Gruissan's 5 sandy beaches. The pool is open from mid June to mid September.

The main resort surrounds the marina and yacht harbour and in addition to shops and supermarkets offers a wide choice of excellent cafés, bars, and restaurants. Out of season Gruissan is a calm and friendly seaside village that is ideal for winter lets but in the summer and on weekends it comes alive with a variety of activities and entertainments.

There is TV, hifi, wifi and all mod cons in the kitchen.

The accommodation is on two levels comprising three bedrooms - one double, one twin and one with bunk beds, and attractive open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with oven, 4 ring induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and washing machine. The bathroom has double sinks and a wall to wall mirror and the WC is separate. In summer the apartment can be kept cool with the sea breeze as it has windows on 3 sides but for still days electric fans are available. The balcony has a table and four chairs. Very suitable for children and for babies a cot, high chair and stair gate available on request. For your convenience there are also deck chairs, ice box, iron, ironing board, drying rack and hairdryer.

Gruissan is one of the liveliest and most attractive resorts in this part of the Mediterranean. The 13th century Barbarossa Tower stands guard over the old fishing village and is best viewed from the lagoon where pink flamingos flit across the calm water against a stunning backdrop of hills and mountains. The main resort surrounds the marina and yacht harbour and in addition to shops and supermarkets offers a huge choice of excellent cafés, bars, and restaurants specializing in delicious platters of local seafood.

There is an outdoor cinema within walking distance and a casino with an excellent restaurant and live music. Just outside the town are nightclubs. There is a small sandy beach a few minutes’ walk from the apartments and numerous others a few minutes’ drive away for swimming, sailing and windsurfing. Tennis courts are just around the corner. The nearby Massif de la Clape offers casual and serious walkers views of rare orchids, exotic bird life and the distant Pyrenees.

Local Activities: If you wish to book water-sports in advance don't hesitate to request details for local kite surf/ wind surf/ sailing courses.

Within a two minute walk you will find tennis courts and a great little children's playground.

The nearest golf club is in Narbonne - don't miss out on it's excellent restaurant!

Rock climbing is a popular sport in spring and autumn when the climate is more temperate.

Night clubs are just outside of the resort (not audible from the apartment).

Karaoke at the casino.

There are stalls in the marina but the main market is in the old village and is within walking distance.

For information on scuba diving, jet skiing, sea fishing etc the Gruissan tourist office is next door to the apartment building.

Apartment in Gruissan

This appartment matched its description. the flat was well appointed and equiped. the pcitures did not show the flat as it was the table is now situated next to the window overlooking the marina which was an excellent veiw to start the day.

We had a car which foun moving around the area very easy not far to lots of interesting places.

we went in september and although busy was not too bad although it may be noisey at the height of summer. although it did not affect us th baby pool was not filld. not sure the reason why but the main pool was full and a good size. for swimming.

Would recommend this apartment and the ara very much We would certainly return
