Built around 1840 the Chateau Du Puits Es Pratx was once the largest wine domain in the village of Ginestas and has been restored to its current glory and it is the perfect venue for weddings, family celebrations, individual or group holidays and corporate workshops. It’s own restaurant ‘L’Es Pratx’ offers a complete gastronomic experience. There are also Creative courses in Cooking, Photography and Painting available. Fascinating Wine Tours for those interested in the wine renaissance in the Languedoc can be arranged that visit some of the best producers in the region. The owners create a relaxed, ’home from home’ atmosphere whatever the occasion and provide accommodation for up to 42 people. The domain provides hotel accommodation in the 5 guest bedrooms within the Chateau itself, all furnished to an excellent standard. In addition there is a 2-bedroom suite adjoining the Chateau, a further 4 Cottages and a one bedroom suite all available on a self-catering basis.

Chateau with 5 double bedrooms, 4 en-suite & all with TV. superb mattresses WIFI connection Self-contained, secure accommodation Restaurant & banqueting hall with wide range of menus Large heated pool. 6 acres of enclosed gardens & small vineyard 'The Chateau' On the ground floor there is a large sitting room with Satellite TV, a dining room for Chambres D’Hôtes guests, a large modern kitchen that hosts the Food Courses and WIFI connection. A magnificent sweeping staircase leads to the first floor were there are: 2 en-suite ‘Family’ bedrooms, each sleeping 3, both decorated in traditional ‘French Style’ each with a ‘Queen’ size bed & single bed. 2 standard double en-suite bedrooms, one ‘Queen’ double or twin with en-suite shower and one standard double with en-suite shower/bath. 1 'Family' bedroom sleeping 3 with a Queen size bed & single bed that has its own dedicated shower room opposite.

Chateau du Puits Es Pratx is surrounded by vineyards in the picturesque countryside of the Aude department, an area within the Minervois wine region of Languedoc. It is located close to the World heritage site of the ‘Canal Du Midi’ and between the sandy Mediterranean beaches to the south and the awesome mountains of L’Espinouse in the North. It is 45 minutes from Carcassonne airport which is 90 minutes from the UK. There are 5 other international airports within easy driving distance. The Chateau is situated on the edge of a village called Ginestas, 20 minutes North of Narbonne and amenities include a general store, a bank (with ATM), a bakery, post office, bar and poodle parlour! Narbonne is well worth exploring, a charming town with an amazing covered food market and cathedral. Montpellier is 80 minutes drive away, Barcelona only 2.5 hours and one can also ski in the Pyrenees!!
