Our four-bedroom villa in Limoux, (20 minutes from Carcassonne airport), offers convenience and comfort while maintaining French flair. Boasting patios in both, the private front and back gardens, a spacious, modern, fully-fitted kitchen, a beautiful Mediterranean-style living room, four airy good-sized bedrooms, two bathrooms (with separate toilets) all this a fifteen minute stroll from the lively centre of Limoux.

Limoux is perfectly situated equidistant from the ski hills of the fabulous Pyrenees and the glorious beaches of the sun-drenched Mediterranean. Set against a backdrop of rolling hills and vineyards, the picturesque town of Limoux straddles the River Aude. Within 20 minutes, visit La Cite in Carcassonne, the grail mysteries of Rennes Le Chateau, the natural hot springs of Rennes Les Bains and Alet-les-Bains, river and lake swimming, and numerous wineries open for sampling! A one-hour drive takes you to skiing in the Pyrenees or swimming in the Mediterranean. The Spanish border is only 70 minutes away!

  • A 75 euro check-out/cleaning fee applies to each rental, and is payable at same time as rental fees.

We take care of our guests!: We welcome you with a bottle of Blanquette, the original 'champagne' for which this area is famous! For your convenience, we provide a starter kit of tea, coffee, sugar, spices and BBQ briquet's. You will also find an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, curling iron and first aid kit. A library (take-a-book, leave-a-book) is situated on the open second floor gallery, where you will find additional lounge chairs. A selection of cards, games, CD's, DVD's and videos are included for your entertainment.

Activities: ~ Nearby Lac de Cavayere with its sandy beach, volleyball courts, boat rentals and hiking/cycling trails, is a perfect spot for a picnic! ~ Hiking and cycling enthusiasts love this area. ~ Canoe and kayak rentals nearby. ~ Explore the hills on horseback. ~ The tree-lined Canal du Midi is perfect for cycling or walking, or take a cruise! ~ La Cite, Europe's only fully-walled medieval town, is a mere 20 minutes drive. ~ Enjoy the soothing natural thermal springs in nearby Rennes Les Bains and Alet-Les Bains. ~ Visit Rennes Le Chateau and the mysteries of the holy grail, the Templar Treasure. ~ Each town hosts a lively weekly market with fresh local produce, cheeses, meats, arts and crafts.

*' We had a dream holiday in Limoux! The house was perfect- spacious and comfortable- we loved having our meals on the patio. Limoux is a charming town in an area of great beauty: rolling hills, vineyards, medieval towns perched on hilltops. All the people we met were friendly and helpful. It was an idyllic three weeks.'
