This beautiful apartment is situated by the river L’Orb &within a 8 minute walk to the Mediterranean Sea with a 4 km long sandy beach. The spacious apartment (4 double bedrooms) has been recently built to modern, high quality standards, incl. air conditioning. It is suitable for families / large groups. The sitting room is immaculately furnished & the roomy dining area seats 8 people comfortably. The large kitchen contains all modern conveniences & includes a small breakfast dining area. A large double balcony, which overlooks the private pool & secluded garden area, is accessed via the sitting room or the master bedroom. The small fishing village of Valras Plage contains all amenities including shops, banks, cafés and great fish restaurants! The local market can be found by the sea front on Monday’s & Friday’s. Other activities incl: sailing, canoeing, horse riding, tennis, 3 golf courses, biking along Canal du Midi, skiing & sightseeing. For more info/photos pls ask for our website

Valras-Plage is one of the unspoilt holiday destinations on the French Mediterranean. It is in a scenic, central location for day trips throughout Languedoc & beyond, with Barcelona, Carcasonne & Marseille all accessible within a comfortable 2-3 hour drive. The nearest airports are Montpellier (45 mins), Narbonne (45 mins), Perpignan (1.5 hr) or Toulouse (2 hr). Small villages nearby (within 1 hour) incl: Bouzigues - on the edge of a lagoon which is famous for its oyster & mussel farming; Sete & Agde – picturesque fishing villages; Pezenas – medieval market town with 70 historical listed buildings; Minerve - a medieval village perched over the meeting of rivers. The Coteaux du Languedoc is the largest viticulture regions of the Mediterranean vineyards - you can often stop off at the local “Cooperatives” to sample the wine & fill up bottles with the wine straight from the barrels. During summer most villages host “Ferias” with various concert / theatre productions (incl. bullfighting).

  • 30% deposit required. The cleared funds of the full deposit should be in the advertiser's account within one week of agreeing to book the property. The property can only be held for this week until the deposit is paid. Once the deposit has cleared the property will be shown, as booked and the deposit is non-refundable. Any bank charges incurred by transfer of funds to be borne by the customer. The remaining balance and the refundable security deposit of £250 are due 4 weeks before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure less any charges incurred e.g. stained mattresses or any significant damage to property or equipment. Euro 70 is to be provided on departure for the cleaning of the apartment. Saturday 16.00 arrival Saturday 10a.m. departure. Linen provided. Towels not provided.

2. Great holiday with lots to do for the family. Nice to have pool and beach so close by. Beautiful furnishings and cooking in the kitchen was a joy. Mr & Mrs M, California.
3. Valras-Plage is certainly the place to visit with a kid. We loved the atmosphere of the town and the long stretch of sandy beach. Mrs MDS, Switzerland
