Spacious villa decorated in French modern style the house is light and airy and was built about 25 years ago. It is splendidly set on a cliff overlooking vineyards, with views across the Pyrenees some 60 miles away. There are extensive gardens to all sides with flowers, fruit trees and ample parking. French doors from the dining room can access a front situated patio dining area. There is also a large covered dining area; both are suitable for alfresco dining. The swimming pool is large (5 X 10 meters) with a tennis court and a coppice of pine trees.

La Manière is a tiny hamlet, one mile from Puisserguier, in the middle of 'la garrigue' in the St Chinian AOC wine area. From the house, we se the Pyrenees at 60 miles away. The nearest beach is 1/2 hour, Spain is one hour, highway 1/4 of an hour. Airports: Béziers Vias 1/2 hour, Montpellier: 3/4 of an hour, Carcassonne (Ryanair):1 hour.La Maniere is a hamlet that was once devoted to silk production. Surrounding the hamlet are vineyards and small wooded area of mostly pines, perfect for a stroll amid the scent of wild thyme and rosemary. The hamlet of La Manière is located between the villages of Puisserguier and Cébazan, a short drive from the RN112, which connects Béziers with Albi. Puisserguier is a lively village, only three minutes away by car, with a weekly market offering fresh produce, cheeses and general groceries to mention but a few. There is also a good selection of shops, bakers, butchers, grocers.

A highly recommended holiday home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and welcoming house. The gardens provided adventure and fun for the children and the swimming pool was very safe and secure. The art in the house and garden was a surprising treat. Lots of good restaurants in the surrounding area.

A lovely and relaxing home from home with lots of sun!
