A beautiful detached cottage with a lovely garden and sunny terraces. With private pool and lots of Mediterranean plants. Well restored with many authentic details. Next to the pool there is a summer kitchen, outside wc and shower. The terraces and the house offer a stunning view on the valley and the river Orb. From the villa it is only a few minutes walk to the beautiful river beach and the inviting 'bistro' where they serve good local food and excellent wine. Inside there is a cosy lounge/dining room and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and a landing with 2 extra beds, wc and bathroom. ADSL broadband connection in the cottage is possible.

Vieussan, situated on the banks of the River Orb, is nestled in the foothills of the Caroux/Espinouse massif in the Haut languedoc Regional park and at the heart of the St. Chinian vineyard appellation. Vieussan is a small village, the baker is passing nearly everyday, there is a local winemaker who sells wine and goats cheese and there is a cosy bistro, where you can enjoy a nice meal with good local wine. Vieussan is situated 9 km from Roquebrun with a small supermarket, restaurants and a good baker. The river is ideal for swimming, canoeing and fishing and there are numerous walking and cycling trails around.

Local shopping: 3 winemakers, a stall on the main road in Vieussan with excellent fresh vegetables, honey and jams, Bar/restaurant: Le Lezard Blue with 'menu du jour' excellent local wines, tapas and Belgium beer. Supermarket in the neighbouring village of Mons la trivalle (7 min). Tennis court in the village: 6 euros an hour.
