Photos and Description of this Colombiers holiday farmhouse Comfortable apartments with large living room with fully equipped kitchen

Your apartment is at the centre court of our formally old wine domain and has a private terrace. Next to the house is our swimming pool. Your apartment has one or two bedrooms. In the first bedroom there is a 1,60 m wide double bed. The second bedroom has two single beds (6 person apartment only) . In the living room you find a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and sitting corner with double sleeping couch (also 1,60 m wide). An extra (baby)bed and children’s high chair are available. Colour television and DVD are in the apartment. In our communal room we have satellite television. Our property is 3 kms from Colombiers (Canal du Midi), 6 kms from Béziers and 20 kms from the beach (fe Valras Plage). Within 20 to 60 minutes you can go to Narbonne, Montpellier, Carcassonne or Perpignan. Or you can visit the Parc Natural de Haut Languedoc in the north.

The apartment is about 40 m2. In the front you find the living room with fully equipped kitchen, dining table and sitting corner with the double sleeping couch. This couch is 1.60 m wide and suitable for adults. In the back, next to each other, are the bedroom and the bathroom. In front of the apartment is a private terrace with garden set and sun umbrella. In the low and mid season we can offer breakfast in the morning (on your terrace or in our communal room). Alternative, all year around, we can bring you your bread from the local bakery in the morning. In the high season we organize, up to twice a week, an evening meal or barbeque

Discover the Languedoc from the tranquillity of our old wine farm situated in the heart of the vineyards overlooking the region. Domaine La Bergerie La Charrue is in the centre of the Languedoc close to Béziers and Colombiers, a little village along the famous Canal du Midi. From our house you overlook Béziers and on clear days you can see the Pyrenees. From the swimming pool you look over the vineyards. The sea, with places like Valras Plage and St. Pierre, is a 20 minute drive by car. The Parc Régional du Haut Languedoc with places like Bédarieux, Roquebrun and St. Chinian, but also Narbonne and Pézenas all are within a 30 minute drive. Montpellier, Perpignan and Carcassonne are less then one hour away. You can also enjoy the tranquillity of our domain, with its comfortable apartments surrounding the delightful and spacious courtyard on your private terrace with garden set and parasol. Or at the swimming pool with terrace and lawn next to the house.

  • In the winter, low and mid season the weekly rate are 270, - 400, - and 450, - euros if the apartment is occupied by 1 or 2 persons. The daily rate in the winter is 50, - euros, low season 65, - euros and mid season 75,- euros.
    All prices are including bed linen, towels in the bathroom, energy costs/heating, taxes and end cleaning.
    Optional breakfast in low and mid season is 7, -/person or we bring you your bread in the morning.
    Price/month from the 1st of October up to the 1st of April on request.
  • In July and August and sometimes in the mid season we offer our customers the possibility for an optional evening meal or barbecue once or twice twice a week.

A great starting point for sightseeing tours

The place is nice and cosy. Nearby good restaurants and cafes and also food shopping. Very close to the Canal du Midi where you can walk along and visit various watergates and bridges. Near to Beziers and Narbonne.

Lovely accommodation and lovely people

We had a lovely time. The accommodation was as described in the property details everything was spotless and we had everything we needed. The facilities were very well maintained.

The location was lovely, right in the middle of the vines. The region is lovely and well worth a visit.

Mark and Jeanette were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The wine helped!!

They have 3 dogs which were no problem at all. They bark at new arrivals briefly and then they leave you alone.

All in all we had a fantastic stay despite the unseasonal weather and would recommend it and use agan.

Ruhige und saubere Ferienwohnung

Es handelt sich um eine Anlage mit mehreren ruhig gelegenen Ferienwohnungen, die zu einem gemütlichen Innenhof ausgerichtet sind. Eine eigene Terasse, der Pool und eine weitere überdachte Gemeinschaftsterasse laden auch zum Verweilen auf dem etwas abseits inmitten von Weinbergen gelegenen Grundstück ein. Jeanette und Mark kümmern sich aufmerksam um ihre Gäste und veranstalten bei Interesse gemeinsame Grillabende, die wir sehr genossen haben.
Die Region mit diversen Ortschaften und Sehenswürdigkeiten kann von diesem zentral gelegenen Quartier sehr gut mit dem Auto bereist werden.
Die zum Haus gehörenden Hunde erkennen Hausgäste sofort wieder und wirkenten auf uns nicht störend.
