Photos and Description of the Agde holiday house 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet, the property sleeps 6-7 people

This ancient house is situated in the historic centre of Agde, only 50 m. from the town's very attractive promenade filled with nice cafés and restaurants. The bottom floor is a large kitchen/dinner room. From this room you can exit to a nice big southern court yard with a lot of flowers, a dinner table with chairs and fireplace to light up the the nights. From may till October this is the most used 'room' in the house. During the summer you need a courtyard. Here you can find the shade but also the sun. It is a nice place for the children to play and it is easy to serve the dinner. From the kitchen and the courtyard you go down to a big bedroom/living room that sleeps two persons in a double bed. Sofa and table, dining table and chairs. Doors to the yard. On the first floor you will find a double bedroom, a large bathroom with bath top and two washbasins, and a separate toilet. At the top floor you have a big bedroom/living room with two beds, sofa, table and chairs and a nice view.

Nearest Ferry : Sète at 25 Kilometres
Nearest Train : Agde at 1 Kilometres
Nearest Beach : beach at 4.0 Kilometres

Agde is undoubtedly the Paradise of the South of France. It is located on the river Herault, 3, 5 km from the Mediterranian. A stroll along th quays, through Agde's narrow streets or in the towns or in the museums, leaves no doubts that Agde is one of Europe's oldest towns. The mild climate with over 300 sunny days a year is an invitation to enjoy an outdoor life also well after the summer season. The Spanish border,an hour and a half drive away,can be reached by motorway and is therefore an excellent idea to explore an other country. With Ryanair, from Standsted airport, you can fly to Montpellier, Carcassonne, Nimes and Perpignan. From these airports you can easily take a train to Agde. Agde is an ancient fishing port on the river Herault, and it has many good restaurants under the shade of the beautiful Plants ane trees. There is a wide cycle path running by the side of the river from the Old Town to the beach. The Tour de France stops in Agde on the 16th July this year.

Bed linen, towels and cleaning are not provided but you can ask for cleaning - 45euros for cleaning - bed linen 10 euros each person.

We have had a fantastic 3 weeks. The house was the nicest we have stayed in - and we have been travelling in Spain- Italy and France for the last 5 months. It was so attractive spacious and clean. We have really enjoyed staying in Agde'old town. It has been really hot but always possible to get cool in the house. Thank you for a Wonderful stay. The gentle family with 4 girls 2-6 and twins at 8 years.
