We had a fabulous time at this charming, spacious, clean, well-lit apartment in the heart of old Marseillan. Loved the master bed upstairs, slept so well. Walking each morning around the corner to the Boulangerie was so convenient with its delicious pastries, brioche, quiche and even pizza. The town square just a few blocks walk with its little market, super butcher, more Boulangerie, Pharmacie and restaurants. We walked to the port each day which was our favorite spot to hang out. Restaurants . . . loved Maison de Camille at the port. La Luna was pretty good. Wonderful restaurant on the square was La Table d'Emilie. Check out the great Carrefour in town for all your grocery and sundry needs. You must buy oysters, mussels and clams from the many Coquillage stands in town. Beautiful, sweet Marseillan was so lovely. We went back and visited Pezenas (antique shops called Brocantes), Perpignan (Maison Quinta, wow!), Ceret (Modern Art Museum). Walking the long, wonderful beach between Marseillan & Sete delightful. The owners called us back from Scotland when we couldn't get the TV to work. Probably 25 English channels available. We highly recommend this holiday home!!
Owner's Response: Thank you for these kind comments. It's always nice to hear from people who love Marseillan and the surrounding area as much as we do!! Ron & Mairi, Edinburgh
