Notes to the rental rates

• Christmas/New Year & Easter £150 Supplement per week.
  Bookings run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am.
  Prices include electricity, water, linen and towels (not beach towels).
  A confirmation of the booking will be sent to the Renter. On receipt of the form and a 20% deposit the Owner will return a acknowledgment to confirm the acceptance of the booking and the date when the balance is due. If a booking is made within 8 weeks of the holiday date the full price plus the security deposit is required at the time of the booking.
  A security deposit (bond) of £150 along with the balance of the rental is required 8 weeks before the holiday date. The deposit will be refunded as soon as possible (usually 1 week) after the end of the rental period. Deductions will be made in the event of losses, damage to the property or furnishings or the need for additional cleaning. Full terms and conditions available on request.

The Village

Just yards from the house is the centre of this historic village where you will find everything you need, including 3 restaurants, café, bars, grocery store, 2 bakeries, delicatessen, fishmonger, post office, pharmacy and a newsagents. In the centre of the village you will find a traditional square where you can play boules or sit at the open air café/restaurant and listen to live music. In addition, there is an excellent supermarket about 2km away, with fresh fish, meat and cheese counters together with an in house-bakery. Herepian also has a local wine co-operative which sells excellent value wine direct to the public

The Local Area

Where do we start with so many things to offer? Mountains, Caves, the Lac du Salagou, the Canal du Midi and miles of Mediterranean beaches are all within a short drive. The area is steeped in history with many abbeys, chateaux and cathedrals to visit and discover as well as the famous towns of Beziers, Montpellier, Carcassonne and Nimes. Herepian is situated on the edge of the beautiful Languedoc National Park and on the banks of the river Orb. On the fringes of the village is the golf course of Lamalou-Les-Bains. The well know Spa town of Lamalou-Les-Bains lies a few kms west. There are endless opportunities for wine-tasting with the Languedoc region being the largest wine producing area in France. There are also plenty of local shopping opportunities and markets to explore at you leisure. The Spanish border and the Pyrenees lie just 90 minutes from the house and Barcelona can be reached in 2 ½ hours for a fantastic day trip or long weekend.
