Comfortable detached house comprising open plan dining room/ kitchen and living room.1 double and 2 twin bedded rooms. Bathroom with W/C and Shower-room with W/C. House situated on side of hill in the hamlet of Frangouille overlooking Tour Sur Orb. Amazing views from large terrace across private swimming pool to hills and forests beyond. A relaxing retreat with own pool. Living room and dining room open to large terrace. Lower terrace with BBQ. Easy car-parking About 1 hour from the sea/beaches. Near Lac Salagou offering all watersports, boat hire and swimming. Golf, tennis, trekking by foot or horse nearby. Walks in National Reserve directly from house.

Frangouille , a hamlet of La Tour Sur Orb is a little way up in the hills above the Orb river.La Tour has an Ecomarche with all basic provisions.The hamlet is surrounded by the wooded hills of a National Park, giving direct access to walkers from the house.The Orb valley leads to Bedarieux ,the nearest town where there is a flying club,all supermarkets and restaurants, cafes and fun.

Notes: The nearest store is an EcoMarche on the outskirts of La tour sur Orb (our local village) . It is a well stocked 'small' supermarket. This includes fresh bread. In La tour is also a bakery , open in the mornings. Eco Marche is 15 minutes walk down hill and 25 minutes back up. Measured by my daughter and I at the New Year. In Bedarieux (10 mins drive) is a SuperU and an InterMarche , which are large supermarkets if not hypermarkets ,as well as VetiMarche (excellent value for children's clothes) and even a McDonalds. The High Street of Bedarieux has all the other necessities such as Chemists and some interesting clothes and gift shops. We find there is no reason to go further than Bedarieux for normal shopping . All our local eateries seem to accept small children as normal . One of the joys of France. Mas D'Issol is at the end of the road up from the valley so there is no passing traffic. Just our neighbours coming to park. The road ends at Mas D'Issol.

Notes to rental dates: Rental periods are Saturday to Saturday . Arrival from 16-00 and departure by 10-00. This will enable the house to be cleaned and an inventory check be made. A deposit of £100.00 is requested for each week booked at time of booking, this is against any cancellation and breakage’s. The deposit will be refunded on the return of the house keys and after a check is done on the house. The full amount is payable 8 weeks before departure.

Linen: Sheets and towels are provided but NOT swimming towels . Blankets and pillows are provided for all beds .

Airports: Nimes and Carcassone are served by Ryanair. Both are one and threequarter hours from the house.Montpellier now has Ryanair going there . Montpellier is about one and a half hours from the house.Montpellier is also on a route from Gatwick via BA.

Golf: There is a fabulous 9 hole golf course at Lamalou Les Bains , which is about 1/2 hr from the house. There is also a very nice restaurant attached which is open to the public, well worth a meal .

1 ) We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at Mas Dissol. Your house is in a wonderful position and I shall not forget the remarkable view from the terrace that greeted us every night. We shall certainly contact you in the future if we decide to return to that area of France.

2 ) We really enjoyed your house especially the pool. The peace and quiet of the area was only disturbed by the children playing in the pool and having a lovely time. My wife and I commented that you could tell that the house was actually used by the owner as all the little bits and pieces you find in your own house were there. It was certainly well equiped and we were really pleased with our choice .
