A modern, bright and airy villa, set in an attractive private “residence” of just 32 properties with a beautiful shared pool (open late-May to late-September) in established gardens. Private parking. Living/dining room leading onto terrace overlooking pool. Kitchenette fully equipped with clothes and dishwasher, hob, combination oven/microwave, fridge/freezer. 2 bedrooms (one king-size, one twin). Bathroom. 2nd separate W.C. BBQ, Sky TV, DVD, CD. Near resort centre with restaurants, bars, shops, pier, marina and market. Bike hire, water sports and tennis in season. About 10 minutes from the A9 peage, Valras-Plage is an excellent base for exploring the Languedoc or simply relaxing. Sorry no pets or smoking.

Valras-Plage is near Beziers on the Mediterranean coast about 20KM south west of Cap D'Agde. The resort of itself has a 4 Km sandy beach, patrolled by life guards during the main season, a harbour area, twice weekly market, many fine restaurants, bars and even a Casino. The town centre has the usual selection of shops, banks (with Atms), a post-office and a tourist office which can give advice on local attractions and activities. The area is serviced by a large Hyper-U at Sérignan, just 4 minutes drive out of the town. The villa makes an ideal base for relaxing, sampling local food and wine, exploring the old French towns and countryside of the Hérault and Aude regions or enjoying the many local activities. These range from sailing off the beach, horse riding and go-karting for the energetic amongst us to relaxing walks by the nearby Canal du Midi. Valras-Plage is easily reached from a number of airports served by the budget airlines (e.g. Ryanair and EasyJet) from the UK.

We were really impressed by the villa accommodation and the residence itself. The established gardens really set it apart from other, stark, modern residences and the villa itself capitalises on this with its terrace that overlooks the pool.

clean small villa in quiet location approx 10 mins walk from good beach..good safe pool area..small parking area at villa..not much space if you need to take a baggage trailer or have a large car..easy access to all facilities eg. shops eating places,souvenier shops in abundance and a good local market on monday and friday
Chairs inside the villa were not the most comfortable but the rest of the equipment was fine..about 10 hours driving in a fast car from Calais
