Inventory includes microwave oven, together with fully equipped kitchen, fan,patio furniture, sunloungers, and gazebo. Argeles is 15 miles south of Perpignan with it's international airport, only 20 miles from the Spanish border and 80 miles from the Pyrenees. The area offers full leisure facilities, including bars, restaurants, water sports, adventure parks, walking and cycling activities.

A refundable deposit of 100 Euros is taken against breakages.

The site: L'Etoile d'Or is a 4* site, open all year round, situated in the shade of Mimosa trees and mediterranean fauna. The main facilities open during June to Mid September include bar, restaurant, shop, new leisure pool, sportif area, tennis courts, and children's play area. The bar/restaurant offers entertainment most nights during the high season. A petit train service runs past the site hourly to the beaches and village. Local farm shops offer fresh locally grown fruit, vegetables and wine.

Further details : Argeles sur Mer Argeles sur Mer is on the Mediterranean coast, about 20 miles from the Spanish border. There is an abundance of wildlife to observe in the area, with nature reserves bordering the local lakes,(etangs), caves to explore, and foothills of the Pyrenees to walk in or have a picnic. The town offers restaurants, bars, discos, shops, and artisan markets. The Salvador Dali museum in Figueras, Spain and the beautiful city of Barcelona are within easy driving distance. Andorra is about 85 miles away, offering duty free goods, and skiing. Daily flights to Perpignan airport by Ryan Airways.

As owners of the properties we are on site to meet you on your arrival, and show you to the mobile home where there is a welcome pack waiting for you after your journey. We offer a personal and friendly service, and having been in the area for 29 years we can answer most of our client's queries. Amongst the facilities we offer to our personal clients is a DVD library, and all of the mobile homes are equipped with air conditioning in lounge area, television, and DVD player. Our information guide to local restaurants, supermarkets, local markets, and places of interest is designed to save you time to ensure the most from your holiday.

An excellent holiday on a well run campsite. The mobile home was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The air-conditioned living space was most welcome during the very hot weather. The kitchen had everything we needed and the addition of an oven allowed us to prepare more adventurous meals. The owners were on site and were very helpful with any questions we had. The owners arranged for us to have free passes for the "TrainBus" which were invaluable, meaning we hardly had to use the car. A number of buses run every hour and give you access to the beaches, the port, Argeles Village and other campsites. Within walking distance was the Taxo Cave which filled your water bottles with wine for just over a euro a litre - and very drinkable too! They also have a grocery section selling local produce and a store selling candles, perfumes, clocks and other nic nacs. They also have a beer garden selling tapas, beer, wine and sangria at very reasonable prices. This proved popular with holiday makers and locals alike. The pool was on the small side but then so is the campsite - we had no trouble getting a sunbed in the morning. The shop onsite has most things for a meal but you will need to visit the hypermarket for larger meals. The Carrefour Hypermarche is a 5 minute drive from the campsite so very handy. I would recommend this holiday to my friends and would consider returning.
