Set in an ideal location for a family holiday, this apartment is a furnished two bedroom duplex, with balcony, gardens and plenty of private car parking. Walk past the tourist office and the church, through pine woods and a few minutes later you are on the blue flag award winning beach, next to the market. Argeles is situated at the foot of the Pyrenees with coastal routes into Spain and only 30 mins drive from Perpignan Airport. (Other airports include Montpellier, Girona, Barcelona.) Shops, beaches, restaurants, bars and cafes, supermarkets, bazaar, are all easily accessible on foot. A regular 'yellow train' service connects popular parts of the resort and the village. Daily excursions available to surrounding places of interest including Colliure, Figueres and Barcelona - please check with the booking agent if you want to visit anywhere specific, or contact the local tourist office. The apartment is a raised ground floor apartment. There is storage space in the garage.

Argeles-sur-mer and locality:- Argeles enjoys a lively boulevard of restaurants and bars, late night shops and market stalls. There are local supermarkets, as well as a wealth of take-away facilities available. Cyber cafe and launderette are close by. Cycle and scooter hire, use of the local gym, dance studio, and municipal swimming pool are available. The nearby village is full of charm and offers architectural pleasures and quiet restaurants. The newly built port is also worth a visit. Barcelona is approx 90 mins away and the Pyrenean ski resorts are about 90 minutes away. Excursions are available - you should check with the Tourist Office either before you book, or on arrival. Argeles-sur-Mer is a popular, lively holiday destination. It is quieter but charming in off-peak seasons.

The kitchen is well equipped with dinner service, cookware and utensils ( also a clothes iron and board ). There is a large colour Tv and cd/radio. small balcony, space for four. Recently redecorated. The apartment is set in a modern block which is well maintained and repainted in sympathetic colours of the region. The apartment is designed to be cool in the summer. There is central heating for winter stays.
