Have breakfast in the shade, lunch at the beach 3 minutes walk from this newly appointed apartment and dine al fresco au barbecue in the private garden with spectacular sunsets. The terraced house is at Plage Nord, the non-commercial end of the beach, therefore less noise, no gourmet food scents. The house contains 2 apartments with patio/garden front and back with ample space for eating 'al fresce' and parking car within gates. Each apartment has its own entrance. The ground floor apartment consists of 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with bath including shower, separate W.C. large open-plan living-room with 2 sofas, dining table for 6, kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave, hob, oven. The entire house has been renovated in an up market style with laminated flooring throughout, new kitchen, bathroom and W.C. The apartment is bright and airy but always cool with fans. Also provided 2 adult bicycles. Barbecue. Outdoor furniture. TV. Linen. Private parking.

The property is located 3 minutes from the beach of Argeles-sur-Mer in the Languedoc-Roussillion region, the most south-east area of France on the Mediterranean Sea. Airports are Perpignan,Girona,Carcassonne, Montpelier. The resort awarded the Blue Flag every year for its 7 km. of Clean Beaches, has life guards during summer. There is a harbour with boating trips and hire. Coullioure, the artist's paradise, is reached by car, boat or cliff walk. Les Alberes give one the chance to hill walk and have a picnic with magnificent views. Cross border shopping in Spain an hour's drive can help with the budget and provides scenic drives along the coasts. There are museums, galleries, bowling, water parks, wine tasting, arts and crafts markets, antique markets, the list to do is endless. But sitting in the garden over dinner with a Cote Roussillion wine is perhaps what it is all about. During winter this is still possible having checked out all the estate agents for the right property.

WINTER SEASON: The property is available for minimum rental periods of one month from October - March. There is gas central heating in every room through radiators if there is a chill in the air. UTILITIES, GAS CENTRAL HEATING, GAS ELECTRICITY AND WATER WILL BE CHARGED AT 100 EUROS p. m. Linen for both beds and a towel package per person would be provided. There is freeview TV reception. Start supply of tablets etc. necessary for the kitchen would be provided along with a starter food pack of tea, coffee, butter milk etc. on arrival. The apartment is placed in an excellent position to check out the entire area for possible properties to suit one's requirements. There is a championship golf course at St. Cyprian 10 minutes drive away, along with orienteering club, diving club, English pub with sky sports and eurosport so all football and rugby matches available. The village is a little hive of activity with the 'yellow train' free to all passengers for the short journey there and b

Winter season: Weather during the winter season has usually only 2-3 nights of frost in total. Sitting in the winter sun is delightful reading the Sunday newspapers and seeing hail, rain and snow on the U.K. weather forecast.

Great apartment in Argeles

We (me, my husband and 15 year old granddaugher) have just returned from a week in Argeles. We have been many times before but this is the first time we have stayed in this particular apartment and we were not disappointed. Anne made us very welcome and she provided everything we needed. The beds were most comfortable, two very comfortable settees, dining table and chairs etc. The kitchen was very well equipped.
The location is perfect, several supermarkets and boulangeries, but it is a little walk to the more busy part of the town. The beach is only a few minutes walk.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definately be back.

Great appartment.
Very close to the beach.
Anne absolutely brilliant, meal a welcome start to the holiday. Her advise and care much appreciated.
Everything you could wish for in the appartment. Can't think of anything we wanted for. Bikes, games, videos, beach equipment all great.

Our second visit to this apartment and again, totally enjoyable. This time we were with our grown-up children (21 & 19). We all had a very relaxing holiday, with Ann, once again, providing all the home comforts including enough books to last us many more visits! Which is just as well as we've already booked a return visit in September!

The proximity to the beach is great, the weather was excellent & we managed to counter all the gorgeous cakes & pastries from the bolulangerie by putting in a couple of miles on the bikes each day!

Great Stay in Argeles

WE ( 2 adults and 2 girls 6 and 4) had great stay in this apartment, it was very clean ,spacious, bright and airy.Everything was great from the outset as Anne provided a meal for us on arrival even though it was midnight ! There was no need to rush off to the shops the following morning as everything you could think of was already provided .Hundreds of books for the adults and plenty of toys for the kids including beach toys,umbrellas matts beach tent (the list goes on).It was very handy also to have the dvd and video plyer to keep the kids occupied on occasion.The patio area is a good size and the outdoor stone bbq is great.The apartment is very close to the beach, bakery(also roast chickens) and pharmacy but is a bit away from the commercial area which is good. Anne also provided 2 adult bikes and a "chariot" trailor for the kids which they loved. We also had a car which was great for travelling o the nearby towns of Colliure and Banyuls, we also went to the beach in Canet( 10mins away) which is perfect for young kids as the water is shallow for 100yds yet it still has some good waves( very safe) .

Argeles sur Mer Apartment

We (2 couples) stayed here for a week in late September & had a great time. We are regular visitors to Argeles and the surrounding area but this was our first stay at this apartment and it didn't disappoint. It was clean, fresh and very much home from home. Anne has provided everything you might need, including the best welcome pack we've ever had! The bikes were particularly helpful for getting to the main resort, the village & even to St Cyprien (cycle lanes most of the way). We hired 2 additional bikes from Velocation on the Ave du Tech. The apartment is at Plage Nord, a little way outside the main resort, but has shops, restaurants, a lovely boulangerie and of course, the beautiful beach only a few minutes walk away. This location would probably be an advantage in July & August when Centre Plage is extremely busy. We would certainly recommend this apartment and hope to be back next year ourselves!
