Table tennis, badminton, swings. The property is bounded by river and hills, local walks available. Dogs welcome. Natural park and tennis court just 200m away. Maison Magnolia is ideal for those house hunting, driving, biking, walking, hiking or just relaxing. Fresh bread available from our nearby village. Nearby coastal towns of Argeles and St. Cyrpien offer wide flat beaches and flat promenades. The nearby town, Ceret, nestles in the Alberes Mountains with its colourful Catalan Saturday market. Le Boulou, a few minutes drive offers further shops and supermarkets with Casino and Thermal Springs. Additional rooms are available in our self contained two bedroom suite.

Maison Magnolia is set in a large peaceful parkland garden with direct access to the River Roma inthe foothills of the Pyrenees. Just perfect for those who enjoy a peaceful relaxing holiday, walking, hiking (GR10) or biking. The nearest town of Ceret, just 10 minutes by car, is a bustling town famous for the various artists who have lived and exhibited there, including Matisse, Dali and Picasso. Within 30 min, the lovely wide sandy beach of Argeles and St. Cyrprien is suitable for families with small children, alive with shops, restaurants and other seaside activities. The port at Colliure is not to be missed, famous for its anchovies and deep sea diving with perfect views whilst dining on the seafront as the sunsets over the lighthouse and the harbour. Spain is just a short drive across the Pyrenees (15 minutes). Something for the entire family, or just relax in the garden, enjoy the views, dip in the large swimming pool, play badminton or listen to the wildlife. See you soon.

The newly refurbished one double bedroom apartment is self contained in the grounds of Maison Magnolia. The lounge and kitchenette open to garden at the front. With Sky TV/DVD. Shower room with toilet and vanity unit, hair dryer. The double bedroom opens to the garden and terrace and summer kitchen. Large pool, BBQ, table tennis, swings. All bed linen provided, and one bath towel and one hand towel per person. Please bring pool/beach towels. A single bed or cot is available on request. Peaceful, tranquil surroundings. Parkland garden. Ideal for relaxation, rest and recuperation. Additional rooms available either with apartment or on a B& B minimum basis. Pool inactive from October to May Continental breakfast and coffee included for B&B rates but BBQ's or meals available on request. Selection of restaurants and bars all locally. Secure parking for all vehicles. Walkers, hikers, bikers all welcome.

Notes to the rental rates

  • Meals available on request for short stay or on arrival. Towels, bed linen, hair dryer & welcome food pack provided. For longer stays, bed linen and towels are changed weekly. Please bring beach towels. Security deposit is required - payable 7 days prior to visit and returned 7 days after departure. Third person in apartment supplement - £50 per week.
  • Smoking is not allowed inside, but is allowed in the summer kitchen and outside. We do ask all visitors and guests to respect our peaceful environment and that of our friends and neighbours. Thank you.

  • The tennis court is a short walk of about 2 min along the river side. The garden has ample scope for ball games and has a badminton net and swing ball. An all weather table tennis table can be used on the terrace. The large inviting swimming pool is sunny all day long and sunbeds, chairs & tables are on the pool terrace for your use. For younger guests, swings are under the shade of the trees.

We live in a tranquil relaxing area, and we welcome guests to enjoy the facilities and the beauty of our surroundings. The apartment is suitable for those travelling in a group or families. Or just two! The full size pool is for the use of our guests with sun beds and parasol. We do recommend that all guests can swim. The summer kitchen/dining room (14sm) or cuisine d’ete opens on to the south facing terrace, garden and barbeque. with table tennis on the terrace and badminton. Wonderful views for your breakfast. Choice of accommodation - one bedroom apartment with double bedroom, lounge with sofabed or a further two single beds. Ideal venue for your wedding party, anniversary or 21st birthday. With large awnings over the terrace, lunch can be set for up to 40people. A marquee can be erected on the top lawn for dancing with drinks and food provided or supplied by yourselves. With plenty of parking and mountain views - it is the ideal location and venue for your party.
