This is a spacious air conditioned apartment, & very well furnished with all the modern day facilities that’s needed for a perfect family holiday. Situated in the attractive secure Jardins D`harmoina, with views of the Alberes foothills from the front loggia & Canigou mountains at the back loggia & with in a short walk to the blue Mediterranean sea, with miles of sandy beach. The area is surrounded by green fields, & a park is situated behind the apartment. Aqualand is a 5 minute walk, local shops are 10 - 15 minute walk. The apartment has a large mezzanine floor which is ideal for all to view DVDs & relax. There is a shared private swimming pool for the apartments open Mid May - October & a children’s play area. There is 18 hole international golf course 10 minute drive, La Grande Stade Tennis centre 10 minute walk. Local fishing in a lagoon 5 minute walk. St Cyprien is the main resort for restaurants & the famous historical town of Collioure is 20 minute drive.

Our apartment is situated in a small quiet residential area, with private villas. There are local farms to purchase fresh fruit & vegetables, Lanquedoc Roussillon area is superb for its wine & you can witness the grape vines& taste the local product at many local shops. There are local markets to wander around, also the local fishing boats to buy fresh fish. Seafood is at its best in St Cyprien. The Port boast to being the second largest in the South of France & the local port offers many trips to the Spanish coastal towns. The historical town of Perpignan offers plenty of Catalan style restaurants & bars, history is everywhere here & plenty of night life. The famous historical town of Collioure is 30 minute drive & has spectacular views of the coastline. The Town is full of cobbled streets with many bars & restaurants, Artist have their paintings for sale & there are many craft shops also. The weather in this region of France offers mild & dry winters & hot summers.

  • Prices are per week however long stays can be negotiated. We accept sterling, Euro cheques, Electricity water & heating are included in the weekly price. Bed linen, towels are available, bookings are Saturday - Saturday. Departure before 11am, arrival 4pm. Low season arrangement times are flexible. Private parking bay is located behind the apartment. 25% non refundable deposit is required with booking. £150 holding deposit is returnable after departure. Balance is payable 6 weeks prior to departure. We have an English /French Speaking person to oversee the apartment who lives in the residence

We have just had a glorious week in the apartment in St. Cyprien.
It was deceptively big for a two bed place and also had 2 bathrooms, which was brilliant. It had everything you needed, comfort, clean, light, near the beach, and umbrellas and body boards for the beach etc. The pool was only a one minute walk which we had to ourselves for most of the the week, the water was crystal clean and the surrounds very clean.
The Aqualand was but a minutes walk but unfortunately was closed for the season, but we knew that before we left. There are plenty of places to visit, we went as far as the spanish border, Banyuls sur mer, was particularly pretty. There are plenty of supermarkets around to buy provisions with some excellent wines.

Overall, it was a lovely, quiet place to relax and enjoy ourselves in the sun and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wanted a lovely chilled holiday. The owner was very helpful with things on our arrival and we met several of the local 'neighbours'.
Would certainly re-visit.

The apartment is absolutely bit as lovely and well equipped as the description suggests and the views of the mountains from the balcony are superb. Pool clean and quiet and beaches nearby had beautiful clear water. Need a car to get around but did get into the Pyrenees to explore. Only issue we had was with the ymca opposite the site which holds summer camps and regularly failed to stop their music at midnight. A live band till 3am was not appreciated by us. Ended up watching dvds till 2.30am rather than trying to sleep through the noise. Recommend taking ear plugs.

Family holiday in St Cyprien July 2008

This apartment is perfect for friends or family wishing to relax and chill out. It is near a water park, which we thoroughly enjoyed the day at and which was within easy walking distance. The beach is within walking distance. The communal pool was very clean and maintained and surprisingly quite quiet (not complaining though). The apartment has everything that you would need to live comfortably for your holiday stay (home from home)and the beds were very comfy too!. If I was to come again I would do as recommended by the owner and hire a car, as the main resort of St Cyprien is quite a walk, but you are able to catch a free bus, which takes you right into the centre and the surrounding area.

This is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. It is very well equipped with all the usual stuff, plus lots of DVDs,CDs, books, & magazines and beach stuff like parasols, chairs. balls, airbeds etc. Kitchen also very well equipped with no shortage of crockery, cutlery etc.
The apartment itself is in a lovely, quiet, good quality complex with a superb swimming pool area that rarely had more than about 10 people there. The best aspect for us was the big balcony where we ate every meal overlooking the gardens and looking out towards the mountains.
The apartment was very clean, everything was in good condition and the arrangements with the owner were smooth and efficient.
St Cyprien Plage has a long sandy beach, but not too much else, and there are loads more like it nearby-at Argeles and Canet for instance. In our view you need a car because there isn't much you can reach on foot apart from the beach, Aqualand which is next door, and a few small shops.
We particularly liked Collioure for character and also liked Roses over the border in Spain. Carcassonne was worth the trip and we could have reached Barcelona fairly easily. I wouldn't say the area was too good for 'places of interest' (although we didn't go into the nearby mountains which might have been different) but for relaxing, beaches,sun and mooching around touristy shops and markets it was hard to beat.

Apartment is strongly recommended.
