Secluded villa in a quiet, private, residential area near Le Boulou, Languedoc- Roussillon, France. With a private pool, large terraces and relaxing, mature gardens shaded by olive trees and bordered by woodlands and a mountain stream, this is a perfect spot to get away from it all. However this still remains a perfect location for beaches, mountain walks, historic trips, shops and restaurants. The enclosed grounds offer ample level parking facilities and car- port. The 8mx4mx1.5m pool has hot/cold shower room and a range of children's toys. The large sun terrace has a built - in barbeque area and an outside fridge freezer. The lounge/dining area has air-conditioning with an open stone fireplace and garden views on three sides. Access to the pool is through the shaded pergola. The kitchen has hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge- freezer. There are 4 bedrooms, master with air-conditioning, a bathroom with a large shower and WC and a further separate toilet.

Situated 2 km. from the town of Le Boulou, our villa is 10 mins. from the sandy beaches and rocky coves of the Mediterranean suitable for swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling, diving and windsurfing. Footpaths/Trails into the mountains are close by. The Cote Roussillon and Roussillon Villages red wines are superb. Local restaurants are to be commended. Day trips to Carcassonne,Ville France, Andorra, Prats de Mollo, Ceret, Port Vendres, Collioure and Barcelona are highly recommended. Local produce include goats cheese, oysters, olive oil, apricots, mussels, scallops and prawns. Local markets are every Wed. and Sun.

The villa is let weekly/fortnightly from SATURDAY to SATURDAY.

How to get there: Perpignan is the closest airport ( 20 mins.) Ryanair flights available from Stanstead/ Perpignan. Flybe flights are available from Birmingham and Southampton. From Ireland fly from Shannon/ Stanstead/ Perpignan or direct from Shannon/ Girona which is just 1 hour away - almost entirely by motorway. Flights are also available from Shannon/ Toulouse and Dublin/ Barcelona. Barcelona is 2 hrs. away and can also be reached from many U.K. airports. Fly Ryanair from Luton, Bournemouth, Nottingham East Midlands, Blackpool, Liverpool and Glasglow Prestwick. The villa is just 5 mins. from the A9 autoroute.

Just came back after a week of holiday on this villa.
The villa as described , fully equipped and definitely will match the highest expectations. Just bring your personal belongings and nothing more as everything else you will find on the villa.
Excellent pool, big garden, kitchen includes every little thing.
And if you shopping fan then you will get it on half price just 10 km away on French/Spanish border.
Daily trips to Carcassonne and Barcelona are strongly recommended as only 1.5-2 hours driving.
If you want to get away from it all then you will find your little piece of heaven on this villa.
Will recommend this property to all friends and definitely will be back.

I would like to recommend this villa for any people who like enjoy both mountain and sea. It is well equiped, as it is as nice as seen on the details. The owners are very nice and helpfull.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this excellent location, close to mountains and the coast. This well maintained house is extremely well equipped for all your needs including a lovely pool. The owners were most welcoming and helpful.

We stayed at this lovely, peaceful villa for 2 weeks and had a brilliant time. Joe & Marian are fantastic hosts - very welcoming and helpful. The description of the villa was spot on and it was very clean, well-equipped and well-maintained. The villa is well placed to explore the region - close to several lovely beaches with cafes & restaurants or if you prefer mountains it is very easy to get away from it all on the long winding roads with spectacular views. We particularly enoyed a visit to Carcassonne with its medieval walled town. We also drove into Spain on a couple of occasions as the border is very close. We would thoroughly recommend the villa and hope to pay a return visit.

Two wonderful weeks !

Thouse of Marian and Joe is a wonderful place to enjoy your holiday in france.
The rooms are clean, big enough and everything you would need, you´ll fin in the house.
A nice big garden, our dog was excited.

The pool is a dream and we enjoyed it very much.

If there would be a problem, you can call Marian or Joe every time ( we didn´t had any problems :-)
10-15 minutes to be on the beach and in the same time you´re in spain, perfect.

We hope to spend our holiday in 2011 again in this house !
