2 Bed terraced house on edge of Catalan village. Sleeps up to 6 (1 double, 1 twin and separate sofa bed). Fully equipped kitchen and large lounge/dining area (30ft) leading to sunny south facing garden with large patio and BBQ. 3km to the nearest beach at Le Barcares. Easily accessible from airports and low cost flights: 20 min from Perpignan airport (Manchester, Southampton and Stansted.), 2 hours from Toulouse and Barcelona (Bristol, London, etc) and within 1 1/2 hours of Gerona, Carcassonne and Beziers.

With 300 days sunshine a year the area is a great holiday destination - sandy beaches, palm trees, vineyards, mountains & lots of sun. It is well known for its old castles, forts, good food, and great wine & colourful Catalan culture. Nearby activities include horse riding, watersports, golf, go-karting, Water Park, Wildlife Park & many more in peak season. Lots of places to visit, including the medieval walled city of Carcassonne, Ceret, Canal du Midi & the Pyrenees, plus duty free shopping across the Spanish Border. The village is well served with shops, 2 supermarkets (within walking distance), hypermarkets 10 minutes drive, plus twice-weekly market, cafes and restaurants. Le Barcarès is just 3km away with a golden sandy beach, a variety of water sports & a good selection of restaurants, bars, shops & markets open throughout the summer months. The beach leads to a magnificent port & marina which is home to the well known Lydia ship restaurant, casino & night club.

Lovely Home to rent

Well what can we say, Lovely well maintain 2 bedroom house sleeps 6 comfortably. Close to lovely beaches and the little town. You do need a car as recomended by the owner. Plenty to see and do, we are going back next year as you can not possibly see everything in a week.

Really Nice!

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely, we thought it was really well kept and the garden is a great place for the summer evenings.

We loved our stay here; the beaches were beautiful, the weather was lovely and the area in general is a really great place to be.

I would reccomend the nearby village of Ville France de Conflet which is close by; they are a fantastic place to go and if you can brave the 832 steps to the nearby Fort Liberia the views are amazing.

Had a great time and to be honest we couldn't really think of anything else that we needed that was not provided. We found the property to be just as described with the facilities very good and clean (Simon T).

We would like to thank you for the most enjoyable holiday we have had at your home in St Laurent de la Salanque. The house was wonderful. The places to visit recommended by yourselves were fabulous (Tommy H)
