Situated right where the Pyrenees reach the Mediterranean, the yellow tracks for mountain hiking crossing the wineyards commence 200m from house. Cote Vermeille offers a truly unique combination of magnificent nature, history, excellent food and wine, leisure activities, and a very hospitable local population. Ideal for climbing , mountain biking and water sports as sailing, windsurfing, diving and fishing. Excellent tennis courts and golf courses nearby. Port Vendres is famous for its large and live fish market. Collioure is almost a museum by itself with its numerous historic buildings. Both towns have 'market day' twice a week - with local specialities and attractions in abundance. The road along the sea brings you to the charming villages of Banyuls-sur-mer and Cerbere, before you cross the Spanish border only 20 min from the house. In the other direction, you leave the Pyrenees and approach the more open and traditional rural and sand beaches only 10-15 min driving from house.

  • Prices are based on weekly rental. Price cuts offered in case of longer rental periods.
    From Oct 1 to May 1, a 50 euro electricity and heating charge is added per week.
  • Linen and towels not included, but available from local agent according to your needs, at fees quoted in contract.
    You can also bring your own, and wash your linen etc in house.
  • 25 % of rent to be transferred upon confirmation, and remaining 75 % at latest 2 weeks before arrival.
    When picking up keys to the house, a security deposit of 500 euro will be left with agency to be picked up upon departure.

The house is recently renovated. Two very nice terraces, in front of house with morning sun and the other with a unique view towards the sea, very private. The kitchen has a small table with chairs, and the living room has dining area and salon. Marin activities: The waterfront by the house is famous for its unique diving attractions and conditions. Villages around the houses offer all Marin activities: Surfing, boating, sailing, kayak, etc.

Art lovers: The Catalan region offer an enormous choice of cultural and artistic highlights, festivals, especially during seasons. Collioure is famous for its fauvist period, and its numerous art galleries. Artists from all of Europe settle down to find inspiration in Collioure. One hour drive to Figueres where you find the Salvador Dali museum.

Perpignan, Barcelona and Montpellier : All three cities can easily be reached by car or train from Port Vendres. They are all exceptionally beautiful cities, and offer a large variety of attractions.

The villa in Collioure provided a perfect location for our family vacation, 3 lovely weeks in one of the nicest places we've ever been to in France.
We have two kids, our daughter of 2,5 and a toddler son of 4months. With spacious bedrooms we had plenty of space and the spectacular view from the seaside terrace was perfect for the after-kids-bedtime dinners.
There is a beach just 40 meters from the house, but we frequently ended up walking into Colliure where there are nice beaches and playground park just perfect for our daughter.
Collioure is truly beautiful small village with nice restaurants and a fantastic athmosphere.
Both the owner and their local representative was very forthcoming and helpful, both sharing information prior to arrival and for any practical matters during the stay.
We warmly recommend this villa to any family or couple that is looking for a great stay in France.

Excellent location and area. Great walks and scenery is superb.
House was ok. Smell in lower area made it virtually unusable during stormy period. Rest of house was fine. Linen supplied was damp and took hours to dry before we could use.
Owner's Response: With correct use of air circulation system, also cellar is free from humid smell. But during automn storms, it happens that we get some smell from pipes, but only at cellar level, not in the house.

some nice days in france

the house was very nice and there was almost nothing to complain expect the fact, that it took 2 days for me to get a hand to sheet over the housekeep, who wasn´t available and that in one of the rooms a matrace had mildew.

we had some nice days in this house in france and enjoyed the stay and the seaside a lot. i come for some years to that region and we rented different appartments, but i can say that this was the best i ever rented in collioure.

Charming and convenient

We loved our vacation at this very charming villa, that is situated so close to the beach. The view from the terrace is exceptional, and you will enjoy eating or relaxing there, resting your eyes at the Mediterranean.

It is walking distance to the attractions of the beautiful Collioure. Port Vendres is also very convenient and charming, and the surroundings opens for numerous activities for both grown ups an kids.

When you do not want to spend time on the beach, the area is excellent for biking and jogging, or hiking in the nearby Pyrenees. Resturants in the area are good, and we also enjoyed tasting the local wine.

Our vacation was so successful that we all agreed this was a place we need to return to another time!

We had a lovely time at Oli. The sea was very close to the property so we could go swimming and snorkelling. It was also close to a Lidl which was very convenient and it was possible to walk to Collioure or Port Vendres. The basement was a little dank and we had to make our own arrangements with the agents for linen etc, however the location made up for that and we had a great time.
