Nearest Ferry: Calais at 1770 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Argeles sur Mer at 9 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Le Boulou at 9 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 11.0 Kilometres

with the Pyrenees as our backdrop and Spain on our doorstep, 20mins the Mediterranean at our feet, what more could you ask, walks, cycling, swimming, wine tasting, we overlook vineyards, all along the coast there are several resorts with promenades and long sandy beaches our nearest is Argeles sur Mer, you may prefer to visit the picturesque Collioure the most painted place in Europe. Banyuls sur Mer where you can take the coast road into Spain for lunch. If you enjoy playing golf there are courses at St.Cyprien near the coast, and two excellent courses approximately less than an hour's drive away near Figueres in Spain. They are Torremirona and Peralada. All three courses have recently hosted the qualifying rounds for the European PGA and the Falgos resort. Incidentally, the Dali museum in Figueres is a must. The whole region has hundreds of things to do and see.

we stayed in july and had a wonderful time watching the fire works at night from our balcony, very clean and confortable all mod cons, the air conditioning was a god send as it was so hot .this is the first time we have visited the region and so much to see and do.
the pool was great would come again.

Domaine des Albères is located with a beautiful view of the Mediterannée and the hills of la plaine de la Roussillon. So wonderful and magic! Quiet, calm and if you have a car, so close to everything; La Costa brava in Spain, the pittoresque villages in France, near the spanish border, les Pyrenées, Perpignan etc.

The house was perfect, or the upper floor was perfect to be honest. If we only had rented that floor I would give it a 5/5 without a doubt. However, we were two familys and the bottom floor was not at all as nice. It was damp, a bit smelly (damp smell) and not at all with the stunning view of the upper floor. If you are a family of 5 persons you have plenty of space on the upper floor and you will have wonderful evenings eating outside, sitting on the balcony, enyoying breakfast with baguette from the Boulanger down in Laroque des Albères. It is paradise!!

We would love visiting you again!
Owner's Response: unfortunatley the downstairs had not been aired and was locked up for the winter where as normally it would be in use and well ventilated this is the first time we have had a comment about this.
the villa is built into the rocks and all are prone to lack of air circulation although we have installed reverse air con down stairs. but are so glad apart from this that the Rosing family had a great time.
