Villa Mimosa is situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees close to a small town, with panoramic views over the surrounding region and towards the Mediterranean. This detached single storey villa with its own pool is set in grounds of approx 1900sq m. It has a choice of either sunny terraces for those who wish to laze away the days or shady spots surrounded by the lemon, apricot and cherry trees. Inside, the villa has a large light and open living space with panoramic views towards Canigou and the many vineyards of Roussillion. There is a TV with English/French channels, DVD and a music system. The dining area seats up to 8 people. The bright modern fitted kitchen has additional dining and is well equiped with a large 'American' style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, hob and oven. The villa has 4 double bedrooms, a large bathroom with corner bath, two wash basins and a separate shower. Separate WC. Outside there is a BBQ area and a choice of terraces dependant on your preference

The villa is located 2 km from the busy town of Le Boulou with supermarkets, restaurants, bars etc. The surrounding region is splashed with an array of excitement and Catalonian hospitality. The medieval town of Céret is 15 minutes away with its huge Saturday market. Join in and sample the local produce or just sit in one of the many street cafes and watch the world bustle by. Or visit Collioure favored by artists such as Picasso and Matisse for its light and famed for its art galleries and good restaurants, 25 minutes by car or take the water taxi from Argeles and enjoy the magnificent coastal scenery as you approach the medieval fort and natural harbour of this lovely old town. 20 minutes away is the bustling costal resort of Argeles-sur-Mer with blue flag beaches, swimming, sailing, windsurfing and jet-skiing a major attraction for families and children. Nearest Airports: Perpignan (30 min), Gerona (45 min), Barcelona (90 min).

  • Booking deposit of £200 is required, (In the event of cancellation, we reserve the right to retain the deposit if we are unable to re-let the villa). Full amount 8 weeks prior to arrival date. A damage deposit of £150, cheque returned within 2 weeks of departure if there is no additional expenses. Arrival at villa no earlier than 4pm on arrival day, villa must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Longer lets considered in low season, price on application. PAYMENT CAN BE MADE BY DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD (NB for credit cards 3% charge on amounts over £500).

Our family had an excellent holiday staying at the spacious and well equipped villa Mimosa. We enjoyed eating out on the decked area, and the children enjoyed the pool daily. We used it as a base to visit Spain twice. Owners were friendly and helpful on booking.

Jon & karen I'd just like to thank you for the use of your superb villa in France. My family and friends have just spent 2 weeks in the sun at Villa Mimosa and wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay .
The villa is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. The views are stunning from property and the good sized pool was well used throughout our stay.Only 30 mins drive to the beech and well worth the drive through the mountains to visit Andora

Perfect house in a phantastic region

When we booked the the house on holiday rental we already had quite high expectations which were exceeded when we arrived at the house. We felt home from the very first minute, there is nothing missing at all. The kids loved the pool, the adults the perfect separation of pool and the rest of the property so there is no "collision" of kids enjoying themselves and parents relaxing and reading a book. The house is simply perfect, it was by far the best we had in 15 years. The stay was perfectly prepared by the owners Karen & Jon, the service during our stay was very well arranged. Congratulations!
From our point of view the region itself deserves more than just a visit of a fortnight. You can hardly discover all the natural and cultural treasures during one holiday, there is so much to see (e.g. Collioure, Villefranche de Conflent, Castelnou, Gorges de Galamus + Ermitage, Chateau de Peyrepertuse, Queribus, etc.). The house offers a perfect starting point to the region.
