There is parking at the top of the steep drive or in the lay by almost opposite.

Sleeps a maximum of 8 persons .There is additional sleeping on one of the mezzanine landings where there is a sofa bed. The villa has been designed for maximum light & space with state of the art underfloor heating. It has an open plan lounge & dining room with an American style kitchen which is fully fitted with electric oven, electric hob. There is a utility room for microwave, dishwasher, washing machine & fridge- freezer.

Situated only a 5 minute drive from the bustling French spa town of Le Boulou which is well equipped with shops bars & restaurants. 15mins drive will take you to the sandy beaches & rocky coves of the Mediterranean suitable for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, diving & windsurfing. You will be spoilt for choice of beaches & pretty ports which are steeped in Catalan history. Footpaths & trails into the mountains are on the doorstep. Spain & the tax free border of Le Perthus are only a 12 minute drive & Barcelona is under 2 hours away. Skiing is 11/2 hours away at Les Angles ski resort or Font Romeu. The famous St Laurent Golf Course is 30 minutes drive. Local produce includes superb Cote Roussillon wines, goats cheese, oysters, olive oil, apricots, mussels, scallops and prawns. Local markets are every Wed and Sun. In the small medieval town of Ceret 20 mins there is a traditional market on Saturday mornings. Perpignan airport 45 mins. Gerona airport 1hr.

  • A booking deposit of £200 per week or euro equivalent is required which is non refundable in the event of cancellation. Full rental is to be paid 8 weeks prior to holiday commencing. Arrival at the villa-no earlier than 4pm on arrival date. Departure from the villa -no later than 10am-to facilitate cleaning. Damage deposit of 200 euro is payable on arrival which will be fully or partially refunded after departure following inspection. The villa is let Saturday - Saturday. Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.

The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer.

Skiing Information:

Why not have a combined holiday of skiing and Mediterranean beaches. Have an early start on the ski slopes followed by a walk among the marinas and beaches of the pretty languedoc coastline. Enjoy the sites, shopping, restaurants and bustle of Perpignan city or soak up the evening tranquility of the villa's location. Being only half an hour from Perpignan and a further 1 hr to the ski slopes of Les Angles or Font Romeu this villa provides the perfect location.

Pre-arrival information was excellent and put us ahead of the game with regards to getting provisions in to ensure a successful start to the holiday. The description of the property was very accurate and condition was also excellent. Clean, tidy and well laid out. As we didn't arrive till after dark it was a little difficult to find our way to it but that was not the owners fault. Location was excellent, within easy access by car of the local town but the villa itself was located in a lovely part of the country, on the side of a hill, surrounded by trees. We were looking for a relaxing holiday with little travelling around and this fitted the bill perfectly. The pool was gorgeous and the weather excellent. Spent early morning in the pool, nice way to start the day and then spent most afternoons and evenings in the pool or relaxing alongside it, just what we wanted. Had a couple of trips out to the coast as recommended by the owners and that was nice and easy to get to and had a good time there. Also went to Carcasonne which was interesting. This is a very well located property within easy reach of many places of interest but was comfortable to spend all day at the villa which suited us to the ground. The decor of the property was good, with all in there that made it feel like home and very comfortable. I would certainly go again, and would certainly recommend it to anyone. One of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had.
