The property is a converted mill with water flowing under a portion of the house. The house has been recently renovated to the very highest standard, offering ever comfort combined with real, old world charm. It is situated in the very pretty village of Joch with spectacular views across the Tet valley, with its peach and olive orchards. The sound of flowing water surrounds the house which is very pleasant on a hot day! The house is beautifully furnished with a mixture of classic and antique furniture. It has a large pool, overlooked by two very pleasant terraces. There are many places to relax in the house and outside - whether on one of the terraces, down by the pool or curled up with a good book in the beautiful chambre d'honneur (living room) with its large fireplace, beautiful oak floor and wonderful views.

Moulin de Joch is situated in the quaint village of Joch, roughly half way between Prades and Ille sur Tet. Local shopping is 3 minutes by car at Vinca. It has three bakeries and two mini supermarkets plus a very good butchers. There are three bars, two restaurants and a pharmacy. There is also a tabac for newspapers and a post office. There is a small outdoor market twice a week and at Prades there is a large market every Tuesday morning. Prades also has large supermarkets and a wide range of restaurants and bars. The Pablo Casals music festival held every August is always very popular. Concerts are held regularly in the area often in local churches at nominal cost. Local attractions are many - ancient towns and villages such as Castelnou, Eus etc., the famous monastery of Prieure de Serrabone is also just minutes away. The sandy beaches of the Mediterranean coast are only 40 minutes away and the city of Perpignan just 40 minutes with its wide range of shops and restaurants.
