Renovated farmhouse in the mountains of Cerdagne, close to Mediterranean

Located in the heart of a small mountain village, at 1600 m height, at the foot of the national park of the Vallée d’Eyne well known for its fauna and flora. Also 1.5 mile away from the ski slopes, this farmhouse has been entirely renovated and is unique in the Cerdagne. At 15 km from Spain, Puigcerda, the tapas and the South life, 10 km away from Font Romeu and its Olympic ski area (skating ring, pool…), 5 km away from Montlouis, Vauban’s fortress, when the valleys of Aude meets the valley of Tet, (Perpignan) and 140 km away from Barcelona (highway almost all the way). The gastronomy is amazing with wines from Banyuls, Maury, Rivesaltes, Moscatel, Corbieres... and Mr Bonzon’s famous butcher shop, awarded several times during the farming contest in Paris. For those who love arts, there is the Pablo Cazals de Prades festival, the Hix festival, the museum of Tautavel or of Ceret among many other possibilities.

Located in the heart of the national park of the Vallée d’Eyne, well known for its fauna and flora, at 1600 m height, close to the ski resort of Font Romeu. In a small and typical mountain village without any noise, close to the natural bubbling waters. Starting point for several hiking paths toward Spain, Andorra, Barcelona, the Mediterranean, the Aude Valley and the wines of Corbières where you will find a typical farmhouse for 10 to 12 persons. The house is entirely equipped with all modern commodities: 3 double bedrooms (2 with their own bathroom and WC) and a dorm for 4, with WC and an ensuite bathroom. Outbuilding and garage for 3 cars, Internet, television, DVD, Video, tennis table, cot, reading area and 2 chimneys. Electric central heating. The weekly price is 1300 Euros: An additional 100 Euros will be asked for the weekly cleaning (at the end of the week) made by a woman who knows the house well and will be able to give you all useful information during the week since she lives very close by from the village. Prices are for one week and can vary from 1000 Euros during off season to 1300 Euros during holidays breaks.

Ski information

Several resorts, close from the village, offer cross country skiing: off-piste, trekking, snowshoes…Font Romeu, Les Angles, Puigmal, Andorra, the Pas de la Case, La Molina in Spain. Le Cambre d'Aze. Runs for all level with huge area for the children. Ice rink, pool, etc. in Font Romeu (10 km away). If the snow cover allows it (and normally it does), you will be able to come back to the house skiing from the Cambre d'Aze, which is a small resort located 2 km away. You can meet with other at the village for a huge ride going down winding to the house and the village. The resort is totally in the forest. The atmosphere is friendly with blue runs, green, red and black (35 km of ski area and a lot more to explore with snowshoes).
