Day trips to the Carmargue, the Mediterranean, ancient Roman cities.
Local Museum in St Jean - fascinating depiction of local life and the history of the manufacture of silk.
The Musée du Désert a nearby historical village steeped in the religious wars of the Huguenots and the Camisards.
The Bambouserie - an exotic park, which is quite unique in Europe with its giant bamboos.
The Cévennes steam train from St. Jean to Anduze, an old fashioned but original way to see the magnificent valleys of the

Many of our guests come to see all these wonderful sights but become bewitched by the peace and calm of Bussas and find it hard to leave.
