Bourdic is a small village 8 km south west of Uzès. The village is surrounded by vineyards and is renowned in the area for its 2 wineries. The house is ideally located for visiting the surrounding area, cycling, walking and canoeing. Historical Uzès, with its famous castle and markets, Roman aqueduct: The Pont du Gard, the cities of Nîmes, Avignon, Orange and Arles, the Ardèche gorge, Gardon river and Mediterranean, are all within an hours drive. The nearest shops are a few km away, where you will find a bakery, chemist, general shop, bar and restaurant.

Notes:

The barn is ideal for indoor football and tennis. There is also a large table tennis table and indoor cricket pitch. It is a barn and can get dusty but we will endeavour to sweep it out frequently. The lower part of the barn is used for storage and firewood for the winter. There are a selection of pool toys, indoor games, DVDs and books. The house is in a village and subsequently there may be some noise from the odd tractor but traffic is limited in the road adjacent to the house. A neighbour owns the olive grove adjacent to the property and may sometimes hang her washing out but she is very unobtrusive. Linen available: bed linen and towels 15 € per person plus end of stay cleaning charge 100 €.
