Beautiful stone farmhouse vacation rental house, close to Uzes, with private pool and heating for winter lets. Each room has its own ensuite bath or shower room. Recently restored to a very high standard. Well equipped kitchen, sitting room with satellite TV stereo/video. Charming walled garden with pool and terraces. This is a truly beautiful get away from it all house, 15km from Uzes, surrounded by vines and 'route blanche' for cycling or walking.

Uzès is an unspoilt medieval town on the borders of Provence and Gard region of Languedoc-Rousillon. Close to Avignon, Nimes and Montpellier. The town is characterised by lime-stone buildings, many dating from the 12th century, which have been carefully restored in recent years. The pedestrianised town centre is circled by a one-way 'boulevard'. The town is well supplied with interesting family-run shops and restaurants. There is a cinema, tennis courts and a lively market on a Saturday takes over the whole town and is one of the best in the South of France. There is kayaking on the nearby River Gardon which takes you to the historic Pont Du Gard.

Activities/ Things to do in the region: Walking, cycling,(bikes are provided by owners for a nominal fee if available, or can be rented locally) wine tasting and golf (a set of clubs provided). Tennis,(rackets provided) Kayaking, quod biking, horse riding, go-karting and the beaches of the Camargue approx. 1 hour away where you can hire boats etc.

2nd Property: The owners have a much larger 2nd property with own pool etc opposite this house. Please see property number 67793. The two houses are opposite each other, separated by a small lane, totally private from one another, yet close enough for large groups who want to holiday together.

An exceptionally well furnished holiday house set amidst beautiful countryside and well within reach of a variety of restaurants. We found this house to be unusually clean and well stocked, hard to imagine it is a rental home!
Darian couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, advising us on all local amenities/activities.
Our holiday started the minute we arrived, and we were loathe to leave, but will certainly return, and happily recommend to anyone.
