200-year old village house in South of France
This old stone house is built over 3 floors and sits in the heart of a medieval village. The bottom floor is open-plan kitchen/dining area and salon. There is a small 'cour' (area in front of the house) for your use. The top bedroom has a beamed ceiling and the king-size bedroom has a beautiful traditional balcony. The bathroom is new. The house has a TV, washing machine, fridge, gas hob and cooker and microwave. It is comfortable and is south facing. Unsuitable for small children and elderly people because of stone stairs.

Fournes is 5 minutes from the motorway, 5 km from the Pont du Gard and 3 km from Remoulins which has all amenities. The village has a good local grocery and cafe/bar. There are excellent village wine cellars and local honey. You are 20 minutes from historic Avignon and Nimes. There is a 9-hole golf course in nearby Uzes, 20 mins from Remoulins. Fournes is ideal for visiting gorgeous Provence and the Camargue with its famous bulls, flamingos and white horses; also Arles, much loved by Van Gogh; the beautiful perched villages of Baux-de-Provence and Gordes and much more. You are only an hour from the Mediterranean. See website
