The tiny, quiet village of Pougnadoresse is nestled directly between the amazing towns of Nimes, Uzes and Avignon. Located in the the heart of the Cotes du Rhone, it is an ideal location to spend the day going from vineyard to vineyard, stopping to soak up the history and sun. The Pont du Gard aquaduct located nearby, is a perfect place for picnics, swimming or kayaking. Avignon, one of the most historically significant cities in France hosts some of the best theatres and dining in the country. If it is bull fighting you are after then Nimes is the answer. With its Spanish influence, you can dance the night away doing the flamenco as you sample local tapas. Or if you are looking for the sea, drop down to Marseilles and have a drive along the Mediterranean. It is truly a magical part of the world.
