The villa is situated 2 minutes walk from the magnificent fortified town of Aigues- Mortes. The villa is part of a new development, with private parking and large shared swimming pool.The pool is open from the middle of May until the end of September.The Pool is not heated. Private small garden with garden furniture and large parasol. Outside electric grill. The villa is perfectly situated for restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, bakers, banks, and the local market.

Aigues Mortes,on the edge of the Camargue national park, famous for its white horses and pink flamingos. Close to the beaches of the Mediterranean and on the edge of the canal du Rhone a Sept. The magnificent walled town, built by Louis the 9th as the port to the Mediteranean, offers spectacular views from its ramparts and wall walk. Take a canal cruise, a safari by land rover or cycle the canal tow paths and discover the wonders of the area. Many towns and cities to visit within easy reach. Spectacular beaches within 20 mins drive.

Golf course: The nearest Golf course is the International championship course at La Grande Motte (only 10 minutes drive) offering a real challenge to even the best golfers. It also has a short 18 hole course and a 9 hole course. The green fees are very reasonable and equipment hire is available. There are also golf courses at Nimes and Beziers all within easy reach

Nearby: Le Grau du Roi is only 5 km away and is a fantastic and very chic Mediterranean beach resort, with a wide variety of restaurants, shopping and safe sandy beaches. Nimes, ancient Roman city with fine amphitheatre Arles, and an even better amphitheatre, and the Van Gogh connection. Lovely town, fantastic market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Saintes Maries-de-la-mer, superb beaches.

Travel Information: Nearest Airports are Montpellier and Nimes both serviced by budget airlines, only 30 mins and 40 mins by car. Also for those happy to drive a bit further its worth checking out flights to Nice and (Barcelona) Girona by Easy Jet, and Ryan-Air both are about 3 hours. Railway links are available to Aigues Mortes from Nimes and the small station is close to the villa.For Scottish travellers Ryan Air now fly Prestwick to Marseille and Edinburgh to Marseille in the summer ,which is about an hours drive away.
