A popular wine area of Provence, the Mas de Sellier hamlet is situated just a couple of kilometres from St Marcel de Careiret, a small village with charming village shop, cafe and delightful patisserie for your morning croissant. Bagnols sur Cèze, with its shops, restaurants, supermarkets and weekly market is just 12km away.
History, culture, sport, good wine and good food can all be found in this region. During the summer season the amphitheatres of Nimes and Arles and the streets of Avignon and Bagnols-sur-Cèze reverberate to the open-air music of opera, rock and blues while Uzès, the Self-proclaimed first duchy of France is host to one of the most colourful Saturday markets in the south of France. Also in this area is the famous Roman Pont du Gard, certainly worth visiting, if only to sit beneath it’s imposing arches and watch the river sweep by.
This holiday rental home is a great base for exploring the area and further a field, take walks or bike rides in the country
