Set between the hills and the vineyards, at the edge of Provence, near the village of Laudun is the 'Domaine des Charmettes'. A beautiful 19th century dwelling made up of 3 houses on a quiet wooded hillside. On the grounds there is a large swimming pool, flower gardens, old 'parasol pine trees, and 'Côtes du Rhône village' vines. The 'Domaine' makes and bottles its own wines.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 30% deposit must be paid in Euros at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the house. A guarantee deposit of 300€ is to be paid in cash upon arrival. This guarantee deposit will be returned to you upon departure if no damage has been done. Linens are included. The cleaning is done and linens changed once a week for people staying more than one week.
  • A final end fee of 80€ is to be paid before departure. Extra cleaning is avilable upon request.

    If payment in foreign currency is desired, arrangements can be made.
  • Arrival times: Saturday betwwen 4:30PM and 7:30PM. Please inform us if arrival is to be outside this period.
    Departure times: Saturday departure not later than 10:30 AM.

Ideal place for couples and families who want to enjoy the 'sunny life' of Provence and Southern France. The 'Domaine' is extremely well situated for day trips in and around the region. Laudun is centrally located for trips to Chateauneauf du Pape, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Nimes, Uzès, the Ceze Valley, and the 'Gorges de l'Ardeche'. The Mediterranean and its wonderful beaches are just over an hour's drive.

Have had a wonderful holiday! Lovely area, comfortable, well-equipped house with a superb pool area. Laura and Thierry are very welcoming + friendly. Good centre to explore the surrounding areas. Camp César is a wonderful walk as is the wood behind the house. Loads of butterflies and wildflowers... Will be back to see more of the area!

Thank you for your wonderful hospitality & accomodation we have loved being here in paradise! This is certainly a wonderful part of the world. Visiting Avignon, Uzes and canoing the Pont du Gard was superb. BBq's and swimming were Monique's favourite. We truly have enjoyed our Provence experience. We are sad to leave. Cheers!

We travelled through Italy and France with our 3 kids aged 8, 11 and 14 and thoroughly enjoyed staying with Laura and Thierry who were fabulous hosts. Great facilities and the location was great for day trips to Pont du Gard, Uzes market day, Nimes and Avignon.

Wake up each morning to a stunning view over the vinyard and we had the special treat of watching Thierry in action labelling and packing his own wine production - which tasted great!

Easy to find, close to small towns and major toll roads, a really top location.

Fantastic holiday destination and great hosts. Thanks Laura and Thierry, hope to meet you again someday.
