Local activities: A horse lovers dream ! A professional school of equitation is just five minutes away plus a horse riding centre just over the fields - and such fabulous countryside for riding! At just 5 mins drive is the pretty village of Goudargues with all necessary shopping and a bustling market on Wednesdays. There is a good choice of cafés and restaurants along the canal that flows through the village bordered by shady, century old plane trees and why not try a game of Petanque on the village square with the locals? For those who love to explore our beautiful unspoilt countryside, there are many walks indicated: 'Les Concluses ', wild valleys where the eagles nest or hills of oak and pine trees and of course the fabulous River Ceze valley, ideal for swimming, canoeing and also for fishermen! Bikes can be hired locally and also canoes

Mas des Acacias is ideally situated for discovering Provence. Uzès , beautiful historical town with fabulous architecture and renowned for its exciting market, a delight for the eyes and the gourmets is at just 30 Kms. Avignon, the papal city is within 1 hours drive as is the city of Nimes with its Roman antiquities. To the south at 1 1/2 hrs is the Camargue National Park , wild horses, flamingos and long sandy beaches. To the west, the Cevennes mountain range, chestnut trees and wild scenery. To the east, the Luberon mountains and famous towns of St Remy, Aix en Provence and the incredible Baux de Provence. Plenty to see and do!

Other Activities: Canoeing on the Ceze & Ardeche rivers or under the Pont du Gard on the Gardon river.
