The property is in a fantastic location for touring the many historic and beautiful towns of both Provence and the Languedoc. Nimes, Avignon and Arles are just some of the places within easy reach. The Pont du Gard, a World Heritage Site, is ten minutes away and the Med and the Camarge are an hour away. There are also many beautiful walks in the vicinity; we have the GR63 long distance path passing the end of the road. The house is situated in a hilltop village, a stone's throw from the bakery and cafe. This house, full of character, has vaulted and barrel roofed ceilings with a large well equipped kitchen. It has three large airy bedrooms, two bathrooms - one with bath and the other with shower. There is a secluded internal terrace with BBQ and an outside table and chairs to enjoy al fresco dining. Access to one bathroom and one bedroom is across the private terrace. The house has excellent road, air and TGV links to the UK.

Theziers is a small hill top village just south of Avignon. It is situated 5 miles from junction 23 on the autoroute A9. The village is situated in a triangle surrounded by Nimes to the west, Arles and the Camargue to the south and Avignon to the north. In under an hours drive are Les-Baux-de-Provence, Uzes, St-Remy-de-Provence and Montpellier. Local airports are Nimes, Avignon, Monpellier and Marseilles. Avignon TGV station is a twenty minutes drive and has direct services to London Waterloo.

Con i miei amici siamo stati qui 2 settimane ad agosto 2008 e devo dire che siamo stati abbastanza bene anche se abbiamo trovato la casa un po' sporca ma ben accessoriata. Difficile anche individuare la cassetta delle lettere (si trova sotto la maniglia della porta!!!).
Bellissimo e molto romantico fare colazione/cena nel patio; a pranzo c'è un po' caldo in agosto ma ottimo per asciugare in fretta i panni ^^
Il paesello è carino ed è in posizione abbastanza strategica per visitare sia la Linguadoca che la Provenza e la Camargue.
Ottimo assortimento di libri e dvd ma se non conoscete bene francese o inglese, vi consiglio di portarli da casa ;)
La ristrutturazione casereccia è recente e ancora i muri rilasciano l'intonaco quindi in cucina è consigliabile non lasciare sui mobili oggetti o alimenti scoperti.
La casa è disposta su più livelli con scale abbastanza ripide, quindi è un'ottima palestra quotidiana ;P
Se siete amanti del medioevo, vi piacerà sicuramente questa abitazione!
Inoltre, la proprietaria ci ha fatto un ottimo sconto per due settimane, interessante per essere la prima quindicina di agosto.
Complessivamente, consiglio vivamente questa proprietà.

Great property, very roomy, bad area for car crime

Lovely quiet village and great property, good base for days out in any direction. Lots of friendly local kids to play with.

Local bar is friendly and really is staggering distance.

Description of on street parking inaccurate, none available, however car park is 50m away and seems safe. Cannot say that about surrounding towns, hire cars broken into first night and according to police, Remoulins and Aramon are bad, especially for hire cars which are easily spotted with registration ending in 60 and no alarms. Ensure you have full excess insurance.

Easy distances to Ardeche, Med. etc.
