The property situated in the middle of a vineyard, offers a perfect opportunity for a calm family holidays. The garden included a swimming pool with an outdoor shower, a bowl game and a vast park at the back. The house has two shaded terraces, one of them equipped with teak furniture and a mobile barbecue for outside meals. The ground floor offers an American kitchen open on a dining room and a vast sitting room with a chimney. All these room open south on the terrace, the garden and the swimming pool. On the first floor are three bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with two single beds as well as a bathroom.

Vénéjan is a small medieval village situated in “the Gard”, on the crossroad of many pedestrian walks along the scenic road of the “Côtes du Rhone”, 3 km away from Bagnols sur Cèze and 8 km away Pont Saint Esprit and his Provencal market. Avignon and its famous theatre festival are at 35 km, Orange and its opera festival are at 25 km. In less than a hour one can discover the lovely town of Uzès, the marvellous “Pont du Gard” and the village of potters “Saint Quentin la Poterie”. Nîmes, its ancient Roman amphitheatre and its airport are situated at 40 km. For those enjoy swimming in rivers, la Cèze” and “l’Ardèche” are 20 minutes away. Roads towards “Ardèche” and “Les Cévennes” are most appreciated by cyclists.

Chère Line, Nous sommes arrives en Angleterre sans aucun problème. D'ailleurs, on est rentrée avec un peu du soleil d'Avignon parce qu'il fait plus beau en Angleterre cette semaine qu'avant!
Merci beaucoup pour les deux semaines dans votre très jolie maison. C'étaient les meilleures vacances et on garde toujours de très bons souvenirs de notre trop court séjour dans le Gard.

Excellent stay at Palinzarde!

We stayed for 3 weeks at Palinzarde in September and we were very pleased with the house, it's a very comfortable friendly house with a nice pool and garden!
A recommendable place to spend your holiday!

Perfect villa

We had a wonderful time in this villa. The whole villa was well equipped and taken care of. The outside dining area was nice and shady and there was a good shaded sunbathing area aswell - of course there are plenty of sunny areas too. We enjoyed using the boules pitch too. The village is very pretty but very small - not much going on - but the boulangerie is within walking distance and was open every morning (except Sunday's). Don't get too excited about market day... there are only 2 stalls - fruit & veg and meat!! We had a lovely relaxing holiday - thank you very much.

I would thoroughly recommend this holiday letting. The house is private and very well cared for. Line was entirely honest and pleasant to deal with. We all were able to fully relax in the sun and unwind and rediscover ourselves! The best thing about it is probably the fact that it is so cool inside even on hot days (and nights!), and yet pleasantly warm if the temperature drops. I have been to other villas in France which are less pleasant. The village is charming, and of course you are not far from all sorts of wonderful tourist attractions. My favourite day out was to the ancient aquaduct at Gard, but Avignon is fantastic, as are the amazing gorges and caves to the North. The pool is good, and whilst not deep enough for diving somersaults, is absolutley fine for what holidaymakers want. My kids (11 and 9) loved it too! Just looking at the picture makes me want to go back there again!
