Anduze has a lot to offer: the Bambouseraie de Prafance (an exotic Japanese garden), the river Gardon, Parc des Cordeliers, steam train to St.Jean du Gard, Grotte des Demoiselles. It is also within easy reach of Nîmes, Alès, and Montpellier with their medieval towns, Roman architecture and markets. Also near the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, the Camargue, Pont du Gard, Gorges du Tarn and the Cevenne mountains. Anduze is an all year round resort with many beautiful trails to discover during the milder days of spring and autumn. It has an excellent range of shops and restaurants. Try the well known sausages and the tasty Pélardons (goat-cheese), the local wine, and go shopping for the famous Vase d’Anduze.
