Sarahs Lovely Villa in Aigues Mortes
Review Submitted: January 24, 2010

We went in October 2009 to Sarahs Villa and had a superb time. The weather was perfect. 23C during the day and light jumper at night time. You could still sit out and drink a bottle of wine outside at night, watching the birds fly overhead.
The restaurants in town were excellent and no one had any trouble finding something they liked.
The villa was perfect, only 5 minutes walk into town to get your bread or butchers or milk. Everthing you want is in town if you don't want to use a car or there are 2 supermarkets a 5 minute drive away. The villa has everything you want for a holiday and was very homely. It's not like the other villas you get where they buy stuff for holiday makers. This felt like someones home and that is why we will come back again.
We did not use the pool as we are not swimmers and were so busy going out and about to all the lovely sites nearby.
We saw Pont du Gard, Montpellier, Nimes and went to Frontignan near Sete for some delicious dessert wine. Shopping is the best and even my hubby loved it!!! But then again he also loved fishing from outside the house!!
You really must visit this part of France and out of season is so fantastic that it really does compete against in season. Plus you don't get all the tourists out of season.
Definitely a must for families, children, adults romantic holiday or just a group of friends who want to slow down for a week or two.
