A villa in Gard, Languedoc-Roussillon, France. A typically French provencal house with lovely surroundings and a superb communal swimming pool. Two minutes walk from the fortified medieval 13th century town of Aigues-Mortes, walk through the ancient ramparts to outstanding traditional restaurants, picturesque squares, cafes bars and shops. Superb Mediterranean beaches and other places of interest nearby, such as Nimes, Avignon and Arles. Lots of activities locally, such as horse riding through the Camargue, quad-biking and canoeing. Plus with the added advantage of only being 15 minutes drive to the airport. The private residence of 'Les Rives de la Tour' is situated just 2 minutes walk away from the medieval 13th century town. Nearby there are lovely beaches and lively resorts 5-10 minutes by car. The local amenities, such as the supermarkets are a few minutes down the road by car.

I can honestly say this has to be the perfect villa if you are on a budget and want to have everything near you.
2 minutes walk from town - Superb swimming pool, restaurants and culture are all around you.

A superb place to go. Swimming pool 35 seconds away, bar, restaurants, cafes, museums 5 minutes walk away and the beach is just down the road. I went horse riding and on the boats around the camargue. One of the best things I tried was hiring a boat from outside the house, getting a picnic and cruising down the Canal with my family. What more could you want - Another holiday there of course :) It is wonderful and just what the doctor ordered. My kids had a whale of a time as there were many other kids to play with and it had a very sociable atmosphere. We had bbq's at our neighbours villa and I spoke no French and they spoke no English but it didn't matter.
