The main house living quarters are on the first level overlooking the pool & beautifully maintained lawns with direct access from the driveway. The villa has a very well equipped main kitchen & comfortable salon- dining room both leading out on to the covered terrace overlooking the pool.

Nearby

The Villa lies in the countryside just outside Venejan and has views over the village from over the vines. Venejan is very pretty with little paved streets and has a bakers for fresh bread and croissants ! The roman chapel hosts a music festival every summer. There are several very well known wine cellars in the region. Shopping can be done either in Pont St Esprit, at a short drive, which has a good choice of shops and supermarkets plus a large and bustlng market every Saturday, or at Bagnols, many shops plus another large market on the Wednesday.

Activities

Sightseeing is a major activity in this region , Venejan being so well centred for visiting all of Provence. Orange with its Arena and famous summer festivals is at 1/2 hr, Avignon with its Papal palace is also at half an hours drive. Uzès also has easy access and hosts the world famous Pont du Gard. Many day trips are possible , the Luberon mountains are just over the Rhone, the camargue, further south with the wild life parks and the long sandy beaches outside Montpellier. Sporting activities are available in the region; canoeing on the nearby Ceze and Ardeche rivers, horse riding centres in the lovely countryside and of course walking to discover the unspoilt countryside and pretty hillside villages in the Ceze valley.
