Two sun terraces, equipped with sunbeds and patio dining furniture to accommodates 8 persons.A friendly residence , the centre point of which is the large communal swimming pool and large sun terrace. A gentle scroll takes you through the imposing ramparts and into the lovely , walled town of Aigues Mortes. Hugh choice of bars and restaurants. all very child-friendly and no need to worry about having to drive home. The Carmargue Nation park and Mediterranean Beaches only 10 minutes away.

The Villa is located in the all new gated development of Rives de la tour which is situated on the banks of the Canal du Rhone a sete. Only a short stroll into the Medieval town of Aigues Mortes with its vast choice of restaurants, shops art galleries and historic sites. Aigues Mortes lies on the Mediterranean coast , on the edge of the spectacular Carmargue national Park, famous for its vast wildlife , including white horses and pink flamingos. Thanks to its serene climate , the country around Aigues Mortes is a paradise for a high number of migrating birds.

Activities in the Area: La Grou de Roi - fantastic and very chic Mediterranean beach resort La Grand Motte - beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants . Water slide park and lots for the kids to do, bouncing castles on the beach Saintes -Marie De la Maires- more super beaches and lots more. The Romans town of Arles , Nimes and Avignon are all close , as is the famous Point du Gard. Fantastic Market in Aigues Mortes every Wednesday and Sunday. Montpellier(a mini Paris) only 20 minutes away, . Barge trips on the canal 2minutes walk from the Villa, or hire your own boat for the day. Pony riding for Children

We have been to this house on a few occassions and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there - It is in a perfect setting if you do or don't have a car - Access to the town is only 5 minutes walk away and there is a swimming pool on site, which does not get horrendously busy - The house is perfect for a medium to large family as there is plenty of room.

If this is your 1st visit abroard or to France then it is ideal - Marion is always close at hand if you need to know something or places to go - The area is lovely - Loads to do if you can tear yourself away from the pool - We used to swim in the morning, have a BBQ at lunch time, siesta, shopping at 4pm, swimming at 5 pm - BBQ in the evening and then go to a creperie after, followed by a coffee and stroll through Aigues Mortes.

It is an idea setting for a family to go to and one that we are repeating again.

Airports nearby are Montpellier and Nimes so excellent access to the house from UK - Food is extremely varied so if you have a simpler palate then you will be well satisfied.

You cannot get a better more affordable holiday home than this. :)
You have everything on your doorstep and more. The airports were only 10 minutes drive away, but you'd never know they were there as they don't fly over in that direction.
