Château du Chiron is a unique property nestled in the undiscovered part of France, the Limousin. Set in 6 acres of walled parkland and meadows with hundred year old trees, Le Chiron is only a short drive to the closest village. There is an enclosed, large 12m x 6m Chlorine-free pool with teak garden furniture and loungers. The interior of the house has been renovated to a high standard. Original features blend seamlessly with stylish and contemporary design. There are oak or terracotta/terrazzo floors throughout and open fireplaces with wood provided for winter rentals (as well as central heating). The interconnecting dining room, drawing room and day room provide ample space to entertain, together with a fitted kitchen and utility room. There are 6 double bedrooms and five designer bathrooms.

Notes: All bedrooms have adjacent private bathrooms with shower, basin and WC located in each of the two towers with full size windows, natural stone tiles and contemporary fittings. A further 3 beds for children can be located in the bedrooms if required. Short weekend breaks for groups of up to 12 depending on availability. Full catering is available for the duration of your stay or an occasional dinner party. A pizza evening can be arranged using the original bread oven where younger and older guests can make and bake their own.

Local Amenities: The charming typically French village of Le Dorat, famous for its splendid church, is just 3kms away. It offers all the amenities you need; a post office, supermarket, bakeries, butchers, chocolate shop, bars and two restaurants. There is also a porcelain factory shop from one many manufacturers based in or near Limoges. The ancient town walls still remain. The local 'Ferme Auberge' restaurant nearby serves organic specialities from the farm such as foie gras, guineau fowl and smoked duck. Larger supermarkets are available in Bellac 13kms and a hyper-market in Montmorillion 32kms.
