Beautifully restored cottages with breathtaking views
Restored cottage in the Dordogne Valley on the edge of a small village and on our small farm (La ferme du Mont-Joli) the cottage has everything to make your stay comfortable. The living area has stone walls, exposed beams a wood burner, satellite TV, VHS, and has ample seating and a dining table with seating for 6, the kitchen area is well appointed including a washing machine and micro wave. There is a covered patio (south facing) with furniture and BBQ for alfresco living, with panoramic views over the Dordogne valley and La Correze, there is a shared pool 6.40 x 4 metres.

Lostanges in the Correze is 25 minutes south of Brive, and approximately 1 1/2 hours from Limoges airport in the valley of the Dordogne, surrounded by places to visit, medieval chateaus and villages (including 6 of the most beautiful in France), caves, lakes, vineyard, there's swimming and canoeing on the Dordogne and on several lakes near bye. This area produces some of the best food in France, pate-de-foie gras, confit of duck/goose, acabecou (goat’s cheese) and walnuts, with local wines to wash it all down with, the local restaurants are good with reasonable prices (several have swimming pools for customers).
