Located in the Monts d'Ambazac in a quiet hamlet A Limousin stone farmhouse for 2/6 persons in the quiet and sunny hamlet benefits from a heated and bio swimming pool, and beautiful views of the undulating countryside. This is a unique place for a quiet holiday surrounded by nature and the open Limousines countryside. In the house, a large amount of the furniture is rustic. 3 rooms upstairs, each one with a sink and a bidet. All the floors in the rooms are old chestnut wood. The house is comfortable in any season. In summer period the swimming pool is shared with the owners.

Bio heated Swimming pool - Solar powered heated, the swimming pool is 6°C warmer than an other one. In middle of May or end of September the temperature of the water is around 24°C. In July and August the Water is around 28°C. Spacious pool : size 6m x 10m without any chlorine or salt. The pool is equipped with a natural water treatment by ultra violet technology. This system makes the water kind to your eyes and your skin. To enter the water there are wide Roman steps enabling you to relax. There is a progressive transition to the deep end and the pool features a security step all around. Other equipments : Solar powered shower - Natural stone terrace - chaises lounge. In summer period the swimming pool is shared with the owners.

Activities

There are very few cars around Les Monts d'Ambazac so it is a real pleasure to ride with bikes [we have two bikes on site for your use] or walk with children. Nearby there is horse riding 'Chatenet en Dognon', tennis in 'La Jonchère', swimming and pedal boat in surrounding lakes: 'Pont à l'Age', Ambazac, 'Saint Pardoux' . A visit to Limoges is essential. The capital of the Limousin region is famous for its fine and unique porcelain.

Not only is the Limousin famous for its nature, but also for the quality of its farm meat specialities: its chestnut pâtés and chestnut sausage. You will find all these specialities of local producers at the village of La Jonchère and in the markets. Not far away are also excellent little restaurants with reasonable prices.

Nature is waiting to be discovered for vacations full of charm in Les Monts d'Ambazac in Limousin.
