The pool is south facing and fully enclosed. Outside is a patio with BBQ and large grassed area. Table-tennis, badminton and other outside games are all available to use. Auzillac is a few minutes drive from Chateauponsac and the historic city of Limoges is close by. The picturesque River Gartemps is 10 minutes walk through the woods from the Gite and the mountains of Ambazac and the Leisure lakes of St Pardoux and Bessines are only 20 min drive away.

Lakes & Beaches Two leisure lakes with sand beaches are within 20 mins drive. lake of St Pardoux has three beach areas all water sports available (sailing, canoeing, water skiing) + bars/restaurants at each beach area. Boat owners can launch their own boats. The Lake at Bessines sur Gartemps has canoes for rent and a snack bar in the trees. Further details Fishing is available on numerous lakes and local rivers (The River Gartemps is within walking distance). Canoeing and horse riding are also available locally. The area is ideal for walking and biking. All local amenities are available at Chateauponsac. Distances Roman town of Chateauponsac is about a mile and a half from the Gite. Historic city of Limoges, famous for its porcelain 35 mins drive. Limoges Airport is approx 35 mins drive away.

Skiing Information:
